Forno Marchetti In Roma

This year Forno Marchetti celebrated 70 years of activity, and there really is a reason why it is so loved by generations of Romans. Entering here means immersing yourself in a tradition made of authentic aromas and genuine flavours. Their scrocchiarella pizza is legendary: thin, crunchy, seasoned to perfection. But it would be simplistic to stop only at pizza: each product, from traditional desserts to stuffed focaccias, tells a story of quality and passion. Everything is made with artisanal care, with selected ingredients and a love for the craft that can be felt at the first bite. Kind and fast service, welcoming atmosphere and flavors that bring you back to childhood: Forno Marchetti is a neighborhood treasure that deserves to be celebrated every day.

Excellent baked products among which, at least for myself, the red scrocchiarella pizza stands out. Oven that produces products in large quantities evidently for other businesses where it is marketed. Historic place, landmark of the neighborhood, it's a shame it doesn't have the logistical possibilities to become a more usable bakery like others in the area...

The first time I go, the impression is good, I hope it's also for bread and pizza. I will be sure to write again.
