Forno la Mattra In Mazzano romano

A small authentic bakery in the heart of the medieval city of Calcata. Serves pizze & focacce with very good quality ingredients. I had the pizza with prosciutto: delicious meat, dough was a bit overcooked and dry. My friends had the focaccia vegetariana, as well as with salsicia. Both were quite delicious, and copious. It’s a nuce address for a quick bite (& fresh Peroni) if ever visiting this beautiful place.

The bakery offers very good products, and a wide variety. The vegetable sandwich is delicious.

My boyfriend and I went to Forno la Mattra and had a really great time. The food was all very good and high-quality. The people were very kind, especially a lady and a man who welcomed us with great courtesy ❤️🫶🏻
