A now historic bakery in the Bologna neighborhood; it offers a wide selection of excellent breads, even with particular and fine grains. The pizzas and savory dishes are of quality, as is the pastry shop, which offers a large quantity of products. The delicatessen offers a good variety of quality cured meats and many delicious cheeses, including particular and not very common ones. There is always a line, but there are also many people serving and the numbers fortunately pass quite quickly. The only flaw is the choice to use a single line to access all the sectors (pizza, bread/pastry and delicatessen) because sometimes to buy only in the delicatessen you have to queue all the way (much longer!) than the people who buy bread and pizza.

Very friendly, professional, clean, quick and nice, the gentleman at the counter... while the cashier laughs forcefully and even rudely while people pay for their purchases and I'm not saying don't laugh because it's beautiful but with a minimum of courtesy and respect towards those who don't know it!... the white pizza isn't bad...

I continue to think that it is an excellent bakery and much more, quality products, kindness of the staff, personally, it is my point of reference in the neighborhood for some products that I can't find anywhere else. This year I took the classic panettone, as always, because I find it quite competitive with that of the Milanese pastry shops as it is equally good and less expensive, even if in mine there was an excess of raisins compared to the candied fruit and this disproportionates the flavours, but since my trust in the oven does not change, I decided to try the pandoro they make and it turned out to be a happy choice because it was truly a cloud of goodness! I add a star for the cereal baguette and for the San Giuseppe zeppole of which I attach photos. This is haute patisserie! Well done, continue to make me gain weight without feeling guilty!

Biscotti da the buonissimi portati da amici mi hanno fatto tutti i complimenti inoltre ho comprato il prosciutto crudo ed era veramente straordinario come anche la mozzarella di bufala affumicata “freschissima” quando sarò di nuovo da quelle parti sarà un punto di riferimento!

Pizza by the slice, mini pizzas, bread, supplì, biscuits, very good desserts. You can also choose some preserves, compotes, packages and bottles of wine/prosecco to give as gifts or buy on the fly while you buy the bread, because they have good quality brands.

05/07/2025: The food is excellent quality and truly unbeatable in terms of taste and quantity. It's a shame about the staff, especially one of the girls at the counter who I always have to deal with at lunchtime. Every single time I came to buy lunch, I felt deeply uncomfortable with the way she interacts with customers: dirty looks, snorts, swear words and even swearing. She serves the food in trays with contempt and if unfortunately I don't hear her when she asks a question (which is certainly not unusual since she only speaks in whispers and mutters) she blurts out as if I were bothering her. I repeat, I'm very sorry because the place is very good and the food is truly amazing, it's a shame that because of this treatment many customers are discouraged from coming back. I hope you can solve it. <3
05/07/2025: Il cibo è di ottima qualità e veramente imbattibile a livello di gusto e di quantità. Peccato per il personale, in particolare per una delle ragazze al banco con cui mi capita di avere a che fare sempre ad ora di pranzo. Ogni singola volta che sono venuta a comprare il pranzo, mi sono sentita profondamente a disagio per il modo in cui si relaziona ai clienti: occhiatacce, sbuffi, parolacce e addirittura bestemmie. Serve il cibo nelle vaschette con disprezzo e se malauguratamente capita di non sentirla quando fa una domanda (cosa non di certo insolita dato che parla solo sussurrando e borbottando) sbotta come se le stessi dando fastidio. Ripeto, mi dispiace moltissimo perchè il locale è validissimo e il cibo è veramente strepitoso, è un peccato che a causa di questo trattamento molti clienti siano scoraggiati a tornare. Spero possiate risolvere. <3

16/06/2025: Il rooftop dell' hotel de la ville è da sempre il mio aperitivo preferito a Roma. L'atmosfera è imbattibile e gli altri rooftop secondo me neanche ci si avvicinano. Drink buonissimi, certo secondo me visti i prezzi potrebbero essere servizi alcuni stuzzichini in più.
17/02/2025: Sulla terrazza del Hotel de la Ville, a pranzo, veduta straordinaria, e’ la terza volta, ma tre esperienze veramente diverse e contrastanti, ottima la prima, molto buona la seconda, sufficiente la terza, questa qui. Menu’ del pranzo, ma non per questo dovrebbe essere così riduttivo. Capesante scontatissime e banali, vitello tonnato buono ma presentazione scarsa, carbonara buona ma pancetta, invece del guanciale, a Roma non si può… Burgher banale e piccolino 45€. Non giudico il prezzo, lascio a voi, ma per 35-40-45 € a piatto almeno un po’ di originalità, no ?? Ma perché? in fondo siamo in un ristorante TOP di un Hotel TOP, ma come si fa’ Poi nel conto addebitato/proposto servizio 15% indicato a discrezione ma comunque già nel totale …. Lo abbiamo accettato, perché il servizio è stato buono. Le altre due volte non è stato così, avranno cambiato gestione, o cosa ? 4stelle per il panorama ! Forse daremo un’altra possibilità, ma non torneremo col solito entusiasmo
