Ideal for a quick lunch break - foccacia, pizza and extra - everything was very good, fast service with very good value for money. In addition we opted to eat in the bar opposite (we order drinks in this bar and we can eat our sandwiches ordered at Forno Campo)

Honestly, the product is very good, they insist that you buy more things and more than once, but hey...
But the fact that the workers do not use tweezers or gloves when touching the product, I do not see it as hygienic at all.

For me, the best place to try red pizza in all of Rome. It is a traditional bakery with a lot of renown in the city.
Another place that I recommend for this specialty due to its fame is Forno del Ghetto, but I have to admit that this bakery has a greater variety.
We tried the red pizza and a chocolate muffin which is also a must. Don't miss this place if you go to Rome!

I use the "Gulliver Ranking" formula (which I created on 8 May 2024) - anyone can use it by citing its origin - because I consider it reliable and closer to the reality of things, ... always keeping in mind that these are personal opinions.

On a bustling market square in Rome, there's a gem that is an absolute must-visit: Forno Campo de' Fiori. This charming bakery has captured my heart and taste buds, and here's why you should make it a part of your Roman adventure.
An Aromatic Invitation
As you approach Forno Campo de' Fiori, the intoxicating aroma of freshly baked bread and pizza will draw you in. The smell is so inviting, you'll find it impossible to resist. Everything here is incredibly fresh and delicious, making it a sensory delight from the moment you arrive.
Early Bird Gets the Pizza
This popular bakery can get quite crowded, so it's wise to arrive early. Forno Campo de' Fiori is a top spot for both locals and tourists, with Romans often stopping by out of convenience to grab bread, pastries, and a quick slice of pizza to nibble on the way home.
Pizza by the Slice
One of the highlights of Forno Campo de' Fiori is its pizza, sold by weight at two bustling counters. The staff will expertly slice a rectangular piece of pizza from a long slab, wrap it in paper, and send you on your way. There’s no seating, so be prepared to take your delicious finds to go and enjoy them as you explore the city.
A Beautiful Simplicity
The simple, sparsely topped pizza by the slice is a thing of beauty. Watching the staff bring these creations to life through the window to the right of the entrance is a treat in itself. You can ask for small pieces to sample multiple toppings—don't miss the pizza rossa (flatbread brushed with tomato sauce), pizza bianca (flatbread seasoned with salt and olive oil), and the fior di zucca (zucchini flower, anchovy, and mozzarella). Each bite is a testament to the magic of simple, quality ingredients.
Anytime Delight
Forno Campo de' Fiori is perfect for any time of day. Whether you're craving a morning slice (yes, some Romans enjoy pizza for breakfast), a lunch treat, or a late-afternoon snack, this bakery has you covered. Its central location near Campo dei Fiori and Piazza Navona makes it a convenient stop if you're exploring the city center.
A Piece of Takeaway Heaven
In summary, Forno Campo de' Fiori is a little piece of takeaway heaven. The combination of fresh, delicious food and a charming atmosphere makes it a must-visit spot in Rome. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, don't miss the chance to experience this Roman culinary treasure. Buon appetito! 🍕

Okay so there are two Forno bakeries in Campo De Fiori—the pizza one (didn’t try) & the panini one. The panini was simple & incredible. I’m a panini addict & this one really did the trick. I would go back again for sure. Very friendly too & in convenient area.
