This small shop, always impeccable, clean, and very welcoming, produces and sells the best and most authentic bread in all of Catania. They use ancient flours like Timilia, Russello, and Perciasacchi. Seeds and tubers create unique breads with the flavor and aroma of times gone by. The scacciate are different and all delicious: my favorite is the mint and zucchini one, and the black cabbage one is sublime!!! The focaccias are also delicious, as is the pan bauletti, which I regularly buy for breakfast or for a quick, wholesome snack to share with the kids or over tea with friends. I recommend this wonderful Catanian shop to anyone who loves good, authentic things made with so much passion and love. There's often a long line, but I'm happy to wait, and that's understandable, since it's absolutely worth it!

Their scacciate are not only good: they are an experience. The dough is always perfect, the fillings abundant and rich in flavor, and you can feel all the passion with which they work every day.
It is a bakery that preserves tradition and renews it with love, attention and quality.
You can't pass by here without stopping at Biancuccia - it is a small great jewel of Sicilian taste!
