Good morning, travelers! From breakfast to aperitif, at Cortinovis you can find farm specialties such as...fresh pasta, brioches, pastries, donuts, pizzas and mini-pizzas of all kinds, and excellent bread! The kindness of the staff is absolutely fantastic! A large indoor space and a beautiful outdoor area create the perfect backdrop! Absolutely recommended!!

Recommended place, the best feeling is feeling at home every time I go. If you come in you can't help but be happy because the joy is contagious already from 7 in the morning!

It's a young, clean place, and you're encouraged to come in because it's bright and the staff is very friendly. My experience was less positive than the wait: At the entrance, there's a black guy (I'm pro-integration) who asks you for some change. If you buy products at the bakery counter, you struggle to see the prices of the various products and you can't find the receipt that specifies the tare weight, the price per kilo (customers don't want that, the girl says). In the end, when you realize how much you spent, you think you went to a jewelry store or that they made a mistake. Why? A strip of bread with cherry tomatoes on top: €22.00 per kilo, 5-grain focaccia: €20.00 per kilo. Rustic bread: €10 per kilo. Well, I understand everything and everyone—work needs to be paid, employees need to be paid, and taxes need to be paid, but these aren't justified prices. The difference between bread and focaccia is minimal, but the price has tripled/quadrupled. I'm thinking: the butcher I go to sells veal rump for €22.50 per kg, veal sirloin for €24.00 per kg, and so on ad infinitum at market prices. Perhaps the work that comes first is less demanding? I doubt it, because even farmers don't have regular hours and rarely take vacations because their animals need caring. So I think perhaps some bakers set prices because they think they're selling jewelry and not essential foods, like bread, which is considered a 4% VAT rate. I hate to write this review, but I think it's useful, and I'd add that they should clearly show the prices to the public... also providing a receipt showing the net weight. Anyway, I think I'll stop by again to see if they've taken my review into account and to still enjoy a good coffee at the right price: €1.30 sitting or standing at the counter.
