We met for the first time by chance, for a lunch with friends, and I was really amazed by the place, the food all really delicious with explosions of flavors, the excellent service everyone very helpful especially one of the owners. I was very satisfied we decided to celebrate the first communion of our daughter more or less 30 people and they were all very happy we ate excellent food also based on truffles. However I recommend to all the people who are in the Calestano area to go and try the cuisine and see the beautiful place da Fontana.
Thanks to everyone for the wonderful day today and especially to Mrs. Patrizia who was very kind and helpful.

If you are in the Val Baganza area it is worth traveling a few kilometers to reach the Fontana restaurant. A truly refined and characteristic venue with different environments for dining in a unique atmosphere, the classic room, the cellar furnished with barrels and bottles of wine, or in summer even the outdoor area decorated with suspended lights. Gourmet pizzas are special with combinations of ingredients that blend perfectly creating unique flavours. I recommend the one with cooked ham, pears and burrata for a perfect sweet-savory contrast. However, I don't recommend the desserts as they are on average good but not exciting, at a slightly high price. For the rest, an excellent restaurant, good service and courteous staff.

Without infamy and without praise. I can't say I had a bad meal but nothing special.
If we then add that the tiramisu was served with biscuits which were frozen in the center and above all that the fassona steak with black truffle was served with non-extra virgin oil, the circle closes.

….. rinomata per la pizza, si opta per andare qua una sera……
Siamo riusciti a prenotare la nicchia, ossia una stanzetta abbastanza indipendente, dove sicuramente il frastuono è minore ……
Siamo stati benino e abbiamo passato una splendida serata .

Pizza buonissima con materie prime ricercate e di qualità. Impasto molto leggero e digeribile. Nonostante il prezzo non economico (ma giustificato) sicuramente è stata una buona esperienza. Personale cordiale.
