Very positive experience at the restaurant

Ospite di amici in questo ristorante che ricorda le osterie di altri tempi e in un certo senso è rimasta in quei tempi. Personale accogliente e simpatico che allietano la serata. Ottima cucina tipica e prodotti di qualità, dagli antipasti ai dolci fatti in casa. Unica accortezza sarebbe quella di porgere un menu con l'indicazione dei prezzi, ma giusto per correttezza anche se i prezzi qui non sono assolutamente un problema.

We are a family from Turin joined by a couple of friends from Frosinone. We were literally enchanted by the welcome and kindness of the staff. The location is wonderful, but above all the food is of excellent quality and the prices are below average. But I want to give a special thanks to Simona who welcomed us in a fantastic way. We will return with the entire dance school, that is 30 people on Saturday 22 March.

I've been going to this place for 10 years. Value for money is unbeatable. The steak is wonderful... the only point of improvement I see is in the variety of first courses which could be wider.

The environment is that of the old and beloved country trattoria, familiar and welcoming: simply with a more assorted menu. The food is fresh and genuine starting from the egg first courses handmade by Mrs. Bruna with the eggs of her hens. The pizzas are also excellent. The focaccia is amazing. Upon entering you will be captivated by the unique aroma of grilled meats that the owner Nello, who is always present in front of the fireplace, expertly cooks. Chicken, lamb, kebabs, sausages, steaks and loins which in my opinion are unmissable!!! Alone they justify the long journey which I have been tackling with pleasure for many years. I recommend pairing them with the seasonal vegetables that the kitchen offers every day together with fresh, hand-cut fried potatoes. The cellar offers a good choice of labels selected by the owner of the "La cultura del vino" wine shop in Albano. The room is managed very well by Simona, Nello's daughter and the backbone of the place. I am sure that even for just a moment you will feel like you are at home enjoying some specialties prepared with love by your grandmother! Excellent quality-price ratio. Highly recommended! Driven by some local indications we tried to have dinner in this place. Large and with parking with many spaces, easily accessible by car. For a light dinner we opted for an entrecote and a lamb with lamb chops, both excellent and of good quality, as well as the artisanal fried potatoes (cut thin and light). Good drinkable house wine and water. Then a dessert (panna cotta with berries), also very tasty. Good value for money, with attentive and fast service. I recommend it if you are in the area.
