Fontalba In Cagli

Everything was delicious. It's a shame about the enormous portions, which inevitably lead to food waste. What a shame!

I went with a friend to eat at Fontalba after a trek between Monte Acuto and Monte Catria. The restaurant is new, modern, and very bright and spacious. The outside area is also spacious, with some children's games. The location is strategic, along the provincial road connecting Fano and Cagli. The staff is organized and helpful. The menu is varied, with meat, fish, truffles, and pizza in the evening. We tried an appetizer and a couple of first courses, one meat and one seafood. All the dishes were delicious and plentiful. We will definitely return.

Discovered thanks to my husband, who stays there for work, it was a real discovery. The fish on Ferragosto (August Bank Holiday) was very good. The tasting menu we chose was rich and varied, and we then moved on to pizza the following Sunday with a friend of mine. I loved the dough and the service, which I must say was attentive and fast on both occasions when the place was packed! Very good...I'll be back again to try the meat selection!

We stopped for lunch during a trip; they found us a table even though it was full and we hadn't booked. They were also quick, despite everything. The portions were generous and really good, excellent value. Three of us ate (including water) and spent just over €50.

The restaurant had a good view of the landscape, the food was also highly recommended and you didn't have to wait long for the menu

Recommended restaurant, excellent value for money

The quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the cleanliness of the restaurant are more than good for the price. The kindness of the service more than made up for the owner's lack of hospitality when we arrived with a small Chihuahua. When we explained her aloof behavior upon our arrival, she cited a previous experience involving two dogs fighting in the restaurant, which, however, ended without any consequences to anyone or property. The hospitality business inevitably brings with it embarrassing situations, but a manager should never put himself in a customer's shoes, displaying gender-based resentment toward any guest.
