21/09/2024: I have many friends who work in high end gastronomy and I wish they were this good. Davide, the chef, his wife Lucia, Father Mauro and Pierre the Somelier run a restaurant that is everything you could ever wish for. Welcoming, excellent service, incredible food, a masterpiece of wine card, it's not too fancy it's just the right amount. There are only 4 tables, which makes for an incredibly attentive experience. Davide was nice enough to take the time to spend an afternoon explaining a lot of what he does to creat such an experience, we got talking and two passionate people just went on about food for hours. The depth to which he goes is hard to grasp at first, but becomes evidently clear the more you indulge in what he has to offer. The produce is meticulously sourced, most of the vegetables are from his own biodynamic garden, the fish was all caught on the same day as it was served, the meat and cheese were local, the wine list is curated to an extent I cannot comprehend. I only got to know Davide and not the rest of his family, but he is a fantastic person who really loves what he does and the impact it has on people. It was an unforgettable experience, better than any other restaurant be that Michelin starred or not that I have ever visited. I will be back! Thank you and well done.
