Friendly staff, quite attentive, even if we had to ask for bread, they were mobbed. Cuisine which, even if a little slow, is worth the wait, the dishes were good, plentiful and tasty. The menu offers various choices of typical first and second courses, prices around €10-12 between first and second courses. Pastry dessert voucher €5. Top Tuscan bread. Clean bathroom, only one. Lentils recommended, umbrichelli alla norcina very good, sausage and beans very good although very peppery. Advised!

Attracted by the phrases posted outside (shrewd, wise and ironic quotes) we went in for a sandwich and then discovered the variety of the menu. Unfortunately many dishes were finished by the late hour, almost afternoon. But we appreciated the frank atmosphere and the place with many portraits of musicians (all of whom the innkeeper knows). The lampredotto, umbrichelli and wine are good. The chickpea, chestnut and chicory soup which was the last portion was also good, honestly very poor. We pointed this out without much conviction. But we then realized that the price of the dish on our bill was half, without telling us. Honest and discreet like everything else. A place with its own soul and an idea of ​​hospitality. We also appreciated him for this.

YOU COULD GIVE MORE Characteristic and well-kept environment, certainly touristy and well located. The service is a bit cold, seems tired and not very accurate. Perhaps trying to get as many customers as possible speeds things up too much, thus losing the pleasure of being at the table. The food is good, fresh, distinctive and the wine excellent. No criticism can be found for its products. The price is at the limit although with an improvement in the service and some changes to the layout of the rooms making everything warmer you could ask for more.

Excellent typical cuisine: pasta alla gricia with truffle top marks. Attentive, cheerful and helpful staff. Spent the right amount. Too bad there is little choice for vegetarians: the warm cheese with pears, nuts and honey was phenomenal. Still white house wine, cold: wonderful.
