Secret Gem in the heart of Milan. Thanks to the new owner and an extraordinary team, we had the pleasure of being guests at the ancient focacceria S. Francesco. The pasta is fresh, made in-house, and you can taste the difference. We tried the pasta with sardines and the tonnarelli with pistachio and scampi pesto, both excellent and perfectly balanced. The desserts are delicious, and an honorable mention goes to their highly original averna Sicilian mule (if you like the Moscow/Kiev mule, you should definitely try it). The staff is attentive and truly kind, and the prices, given the quality and level of attention provided, are more than fair.

A quick Sunday lunch in the center of Milan? This is the perfect place!! Excellent spleen sandwich, delicious caponata and escarole, and delicious arancini. I'll definitely be back to try the first courses and desserts. I highly recommend it!!
