I stopped for dinner, the service is kind and the food is really excellent and seasonal. The only flaw is the amount of deliveries they had at that time which delayed the service a bit, but apart from that, also thanks to an unfortunate timing, everything was really perfect

The food was fantastic and as a vegan with not much choice in Milan this was an amazing find! The staff were lovely and super friendly… 1000% recommend for anyone who is vegan or anyone in general

You can get a free burger on your birthday when you show your ID. Staff is super friendly and the burger tasted amazing.

Vegan sandwiches that surprise everyone's palate: beautiful to look at and excellent to taste. We were spoiled for choice. The side dishes are superb, among which the breaded aubergines stand out...never eaten so good

Small, intimate but very welcoming place. Super friendly staff. Being the first time they gave me very good advice. Excellent quality food. For my birthday they gave me the wild berry tiramisu which was simply amazing. I will definitely be back to try the other sandwiches and more. Thank you

28/06/2025: As a Milanese I am always be the proud to dine at Al Matarel. Not only is food authentic and delicious, but this family run business is an icon in our city for its team, service and ambient! Our favourite Milanese in the heart of the city 🫶🏻

22/06/2025: In the shaded garden, not excellent but well-prepared cuisine, not much choice. Excellent service.
20/05/2025: I went here with a party and I have to say that the food was really good. They also had veg options which were a lifesaver for me. The atmosphere is quiet and friendly.
