We live in New York, we had some idea concerning Bengali cooking outside of Bangladesh. We were little skeptical re the name ending with “India”, however food and service were immaculate. We tried all Deshi items and loved each of them. All the best wishes and we would highly recommend this restaurant for Bangladeshi food. Thank you all for your kindness and hospitality.

As a Westerner, I couldn’t care less who owns this place — whether they’re Bangladeshi, Indian, or Martian, it doesn’t matter. The food is what counts, and here it’s absolutely spot on. I had the palak paneer and chicken tikka masala, and they were both fantastic. The waiter even brought us free samosas as a gift — top-notch service. Honestly, the people leaving reviews about the owner’s background need to get a grip. It’s 2024 — obsessing over whether the owner is Bangladeshi or Indian is just embarrassing. To me, and probably most people outside of your bubble, Bangladeshi and Indian food are nearly identical. You’re here to eat, not conduct some cultural witch hunt. So, if you’re capable of enjoying amazing food without worrying about who’s behind the stove, come here. The dishes are delicious, affordable, and the experience is fantastic. If you’re hung up on the owner’s passport, maybe just stay home and argue with your wall.

We went there twice over the weekend because it was very good and not expensive at all. We were very well received twice. For 15€, we can eat more than we want. We discovered Indian cuisine here and we want to continue discovering it.

A really good little restaurant !!! Excellent service and gently people. Take a "run away/take out" after discuting with them and another customer (±30 minutes) !! My plate was a tika masala ! Great taste (I was there on july in vacation)

I had a really good time eating at this restaurant. I came all the way from Belgium to Rome, Italy and when I tried their food, I felt like I was in heaven. I ordered a butter chicken with rice and naan bread with a mango lassi and it was honestly so délicious. Prices are also very affordable. I would 100% recommend this restaurant!! ( We also gave them a tip for their kindness and their food )

Located in a comfortable and pleasant area, it immediately stands out for its wide variety of flavours, which range from timeless classics to the most original and refined proposals. Each taste is a true explosion of flavours, with fresh and natural ingredients that can be felt at the first spoonful. Among the most interesting proposals there are gourmet flavors such as salted pistachio, dark chocolate with orange, saffron cream and many others that change often, making each visit a discovery. The quality is always very high, with a creamy and perfectly balanced consistency. The prices are absolutely in line with the average of artisanal ice cream shops, but the quality offered makes them more than justified. The place is well-kept, welcoming and very clean, ideal for a sweet break at any time of the day. Special praise goes to the staff, always kind, smiling and available to recommend the best flavors even to the most undecided. Ultimately, Gelateria Mamò is a guarantee: five well-deserved stars for a winning ice cream and customer-friendly management. To try and... to come back!
