A cozy, pleasant place with excellent service. I ordered some pasta with Carbonara sauce, which in my opinion are the best I have eaten not only in Italy, but in general. They have a strong flavor and a great contrast to the crispy bacon.

This is the kind of place you hope to find yourself in, when you travel to Rome. Off the tourist track, no loud talking Americans and Brits. Just a relaxed, confident and unprentious restaurant. Full of charm, authenticity, friendly service and above all great food. The carbonara and Cacio e Pepe are quite rightly famous (they're fantastic), but for me, the Trippa is the star! Wow, what a perfect meal.

Off the tourist trail. Good pasta dishes but nothing exceptional. The carbonara was too peppery (for my taste anyway). Dining room with little charm but excellent service.

Great and fast service. Not a large selection but all are well made and tastes authentic. A tad on the salty side on some pasta.

E' stata una piacevole sorpresa, piatti tipici romani ben cucinati, rigatoni con la pajata, involtini e carciofo alla giudia sono da consigliare. bagni puliti, servizio rapido, camerieri gentili. Situato nel quartiere Testaccio, parcheggio facile.

Siamo andati nella filiale di Piazza dei Quiriti,mancavo da un anno anche per via della pessima esperienza con il personale della sala della scorsa volta Grazie al signor Maurizio che ci ha accolte con garbo e gentilezza mi sono ricreduta Sicuramente i suoi modi,quelli di un tempo e degni della tradizione del ristorante sono stati un eccellente cornice Il vino sempre buono nel rispetto della tradizione romana

04/05/2025: We chose this place after reading through some great reviews and had a lot of excitement: the service was unassuming and fast. We really enjoyed the starters, all seasoned well. The main courses were big disappointment. The fried beef which was very dry and with no seasoning, and pasta which was almost mushy and under seasoned. The desserts were sickly but the chocolate mousse was great. With the disappointing main courses, I am two minded in recommending this place but overall there are good cooking techniques so perhaps we chose the wrong dishes.
02/05/2025: Very nice restaurant, with a young management very attentive to details, starting from the furnishings, up to the menu which I must admit I would have tasted everything. Excellent food served and choice of wines, outside of the six usual commercial big names. Highly recommended!
