Artichokes Jewish-style and cacio e pepe deserve top marks. "Hic manebimus optime" is what the ancient Romans would have said, and we, those of today, confirm it!

Food was delicious and affordable. However, wine recommendation was poor and service was very slow. I see why they put “there is no hurry”. Even as a american, it was slow. Food? Absolutely worth it.

The food is fantastic. They offer home made pasta - we tried the fettuccine with artichoke, the oxtail with potatoes, both the fried and cooked artichoke as a starter and the tiramisu. The red natural wine by glass was great as well. I would definitely recommend it even if the service is slow. We didn’t have a table reservation, but arrived at opening time and they could accommodate us. Later they were fully booked.

We ordered egg yolk noodles, artichoke noodles, black pepper noodles, oxtail, and beef balls. The oxtail was delicious, but the noodles were a bit firm.

Roman cuisine is there, and it's impeccable. Service is friendly and courteous. Prices aren't exactly cheap. Location is always nice, but a bit noisy.

25/02/2026: We ate at this pizzeria as a family and had a great time. The pizzas were good, and I had a hamburger which was perfectly acceptable. We received a very warm welcome and the service was quick, which is always appreciated. The value for money is excellent. We also noticed that the restaurant is frequented by many locals and very few tourists, which is often a good sign! We highly recommend it.

13/01/2026: Everyone shares their experience. The place is welcoming and well-presented, as is the welcome. We ate meat, from chicken to pork. What I had was pork. Not a good impression. The taste was that of reheated roast meat. I understand that you can't expect it to be cooked on the spot, but neither can it be reheated. Everything else became irrelevant. Maybe it was just my impression, but I can recognize a reheated dish, and that was it. The cuisine needs reconsidering. For me, NI.
03/01/2026: Excellent trattoria with an open grill, where the food is excellent and you're always greeted by the kindness and professionalism of the owner and his wife. Highly recommended and definitely worth returning.
