It's a nice place, but they don't tell you that when you pay, even with a card, you have to pay for the service. It comes up directly on the card reader, and if you don't enter a choice of three amounts, you can't pay.

We really liked this place! The food was good, the staff were nice, they accommodated us well for the 2 times we went. I do recommend this place!

Spent a couple of great evenings here while visiting Rome with my wife. One of the evenings they had a fantastic 2 piece band playing/singing some great tracks from across the decades. Staff were fantastic & looked after us extremely well. A very good atmosphere all round & reasonable prices as well!

After visiting many different restaurants in Rome and Florence, I have to say the best service we received was here! Christian and the rest of the staff are fantastic! The food was good and affordable!

Popped in here most nights over the course of our stay for a drink, nice friendly staff. Didn’t eat food, but burgers looked nice. Usually a singer on in the bar later on an evening and it looks full, however, the place is massive and you can go through to the back.

Pizzeria Il Podista

20/08/2025: The pizza was delicious, but cold after waiting over an hour and asking several times. The cod fillets were delicious and piping hot. The staff was understaffed and poorly organized, but very friendly. I hope this is an isolated incident. I'll be back.
31/07/2025: Classic flavors of thin, crispy pizza, supplì, and commercial draft beer. I've also seen traditional Roman pasta dishes pass by, but I've never tried them. Plenty of outdoor seating along the sidewalk. Casual and very affordable.
