A week in the medieval town of Fivizzano with Giuseppe's family was wonderful. The town is located 45 minutes into the valley from La Spezia with no visible traces of tourism.

26/11/2025: First of all, the appetizers are truly excellent. In fact, you could easily get full just by eating the appetizers. There's also a wide selection of wines. I didn't want fish so I ordered meat, but the waiter didn't speak English, so I couldn't eat it because it was rare. The service was nice, attentive, and friendly, but I found their lack of English odd.
