Trovato quasi per caso vicino alla pescheria, subito dietro piazza duomo ….non poteva essere sorpresa più gradita !! Ottimo tutto dagli antipasti ( carpaccio di alici) squisito , al primo : pasta alla catanese : eccezionale , alla tagliata di tonno, al filetto di ricciola, per no parlare della caponata !!! Tutto servito con gusto e soprattutto con estrema cortesia e gentilezza dalla proprietaria Cristina !
Insomma non potevamo trovare di meglio e anche il prezzo adeguato alla qualità dei piatti serviti . Assolutamente da non perdere a Catania!

Fish soup is large and delicious. There's a lot of different seafood inside. We ate it for two people and were full. The service gentleman is extremely polite and speaks fluent English and Polish :)

Cozy place, traditional food, but with some small variations. Beccafico sardines a must, many delicious pasta dishes, each tastier than the other, from Catanese pasta (made to perfection as per Catanese tradition), swordfish, aubergine and mint packages, an excellent sliced red tuna with onion sauce!
If you come to Catania it's an obligatory stop!

If you want to enjoy Catania this is the right place. High quality fish, traditional gourmet dishes, delicious delicacies. Linguine with sea urchins not to be missed, delicate and tasty beccafico sardines, sinful octopus with peppers, lustful mussels peppered. Among the black lava stone, the ancient buildings at the foot of Etna, the colorful Fishiaria welcomed me with kind and competent staff.

Fishiaria conquered my palate with a simply divine mixed fried fish: crunchy, light and with every bite containing the fresh flavor of the sea. We cannot fail to mention the mussel soup, rich and tasty, with a broth so delicious that the final dish is a must. And then the tuna tartare… wow! A unique dish of its kind, embellished with flakes of salted ricotta which add a savory and perfectly balanced note.
I highly recommend anyone to treat themselves to lunch or dinner here - you won't be disappointed.
