If you want to try real Italian pizza prepared with love in Rome, you have to visit here. A different menu every day, we tried many things - pizza, lasagna, aranchini, artichoke. Everything was delicious and a nice conversation with the owner. We haven't eaten such good pizza in any other pizzeria. I really recommend it🤩

For two weeks my wife and I ate our way across Rome, had many delightful evenings and meals. But if you ask us what our best meal in Rome was it was hands down a pizza lunch at Mastro Donato. Food, delilcious. Ingredients, outstanding. The proprietor was terrific, friendly, proud of his food and his family history in the business. It's a tight little counter of a space, but for us it was intimate and neighborly - most people came for takeout anyway. Enjoy!
