Fiordiponti In Santa margherita ligure

Great variety of bread, focaccia and savory pies, and a wide variety of desserts recommended

Panificio Fiordiponti embodies the best of Ligurian tradition and bread-making. It goes without saying how delicious their products are, such as Ligurian focaccia (well-drenched in olive oil), cheese focaccia, and pizza. I didn't have a chance to try the bread or desserts, but they looked absolutely inviting. It alone is worth a stop in Santa Margherita Ligure, and now, picking up takeout to enjoy in Portofino has become a tradition!

Small but well-stocked, I stumbled upon it while strolling through the inner streets of Santa Maria at lunchtime. A smiling and friendly welcome at the counter, two pieces of Ligurian focaccia, and quick service. The focaccia is good, not very greasy, and different from what I'm used to eating in Recco and Camogli. The base is a bit crunchy and the dough is bready to the bite. All in all, a good product. Each bakery has its own recipe, and that's the beauty (and goodness!) of this Ligurian gastronomic excellence. The counter also offers many other sweet and savory baked goods. Overall, a good experience.

BEST FOCACCIA IN SANTA MARGHERITA LIGURE!!! The service was amazing; it was a mother and daughter run by them 🫶🏼 and, so far, it was the best focaccia we've had in Italy. We ordered takeout for lunch/afternoon tea, dinner, and breakfast: classic focaccia, onion focaccia, margherita focaccia, fainá, eggplant lasagna, lampone frola, and a slice of marble cake. EVERYTHING WAS SPECTACULAR!!! They also served us with such kindness. We would love to return to try more delicious treats 😍 Unfortunately, our last day was a Wednesday, when the shop is closed, and we were left wanting to try something else, but we will definitely return to Santa Margherita Ligure, which is a beautiful town, and therefore, to Panificio Fiordiponti. I just returned home after spending a week in Santa Margherita Ligure. Six of seven days (they're closed on Sundays) this is were I got my breakfast. The best focaccia I've ever have tasted, kind service and they open early. Thanks!

Located near the port area, coming from the center, go past the castle, stay on the same side, enter one of the narrow streets, and you'll find yourself before this treasure trove of goodness and authenticity. I confess, it's the first time pizzas and focaccias haven't made me thirsty enough to drink a liter of water as soon as I digest them. Good to know, then. It will be my go-to place in beautiful Santa Margherita Ligure. But not just focaccias, pizzas, and bread, but also sweets, which I'll definitely buy. Friendly service, too. See you soon.

This is by far the best bakery in Santa Margherita. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

The focaccia, cheese focaccia, and pizza are excellent. The desserts are also delicious. Recommended.
