Fino In Merano

The food was delicious and arrived quickly. The price/performance ratio was absolutely reasonable. The location is very nice.

Excellent ice cream parlor with small snacks, great ambiance for outdoor seating – even in warmer temperatures. We'll be back on our next visit to Merano. Restrooms very clean, service first-class. Highly recommended.

Ho prenotato per passare una bella serata con amici, avevamo un bel tavolo all'esterno con vista fiume. Abbiamo mangiato degli affettati di ottima qualità e delle costate cucinate egregiamente. Ottima la lista dei vini, servizio gentile ma mai invadente, ottimo team! Prezzi giusti, vista la posizione e la qualità della struttura alberghiera. Siamo stati molto bene, consigliatissimo!

Delicious food and a good wine selection in a prime location directly on the Passer River. The Schlutzkrapfen and shrimp appetizers are particularly recommended. The service is friendly and competent. The only drawback is that the restaurant is unable to control the pigeons that flutter onto tables and chairs, and the birds are a real nuisance to guests.

Location, location, location. It's hard to imagine a more comfortable spot to sit in the front row and watch people stroll by. The prices are correspondingly high, but it depends on what you're getting. €5.50 for a beer is relatively expensive, while €8 for a cocktail is quite reasonable, and a few snacks are always included. The menu is fantastic and varied, and if it gets too cold, patio heaters ensure pleasant temperatures under the awning. Free entertainment is guaranteed... from the rather tame sparrows that will try to steal your pastries. In short: for us, a thoroughly successful concept after a long day of sightseeing.

Nicely located by the Passer Passage, the cappuccinos arrived quickly, but they were very milky. The waiter became annoying when he was asked for change despite a tip. It was inappropriate.

Café Fino impresses with its attractive location. During our visit we ordered several drinks, but - unlike other tables - no snacks were served. Since a small snack with a drink is common in South Tyrol, we noticed this inconsistent handling. As Italian-speaking guests with a local background, we were aware of this without any linguistic or cultural misunderstandings.
