Fino In Merano

Excellent ice cream parlor with small snacks, great ambiance for outdoor seating – even in warmer temperatures. We'll be back on our next visit to Merano. Restrooms very clean, service first-class. Highly recommended.

Ho prenotato per passare una bella serata con amici, avevamo un bel tavolo all'esterno con vista fiume. Abbiamo mangiato degli affettati di ottima qualità e delle costate cucinate egregiamente. Ottima la lista dei vini, servizio gentile ma mai invadente, ottimo team! Prezzi giusti, vista la posizione e la qualità della struttura alberghiera. Siamo stati molto bene, consigliatissimo!

Delicious food and a good wine selection in a prime location directly on the Passer River. The Schlutzkrapfen and shrimp appetizers are particularly recommended. The service is friendly and competent. The only drawback is that the restaurant is unable to control the pigeons that flutter onto tables and chairs, and the birds are a real nuisance to guests.

Location, location, location. You can't get much more comfortable than sitting in the front row, watching the people stroll by. The prices are correspondingly high, but it depends on what you're looking for. €5.50 for a beer is relatively high, €8 for a cocktail isn't much, and a few snacks are always included. The menu is fantastic and varied, and if it's too cold, heaters keep the temperature pleasant under the awning. There's always free entertainment... from the rather tame sparrows who compete for your pastries. In short: for us, a thoroughly successful concept after a long stroll through the city.

Nicely located on the Passer Passage, the cappuccinos were delivered quickly, but they were very milky. The waiter got annoying when he was asked to give change despite the tip. It was inappropriate.

Café Fino impresses with its attractive location. During our visit we ordered several drinks, but - unlike other tables - no snacks were served. Since a small snack with a drink is common in South Tyrol, we noticed this inconsistent handling. As Italian-speaking guests with a local background, we were aware of this without any linguistic or cultural misunderstandings.

Das Restaurant war leider noch geschlossen und im Februar war nur Café-Betrieb. Die Sonnenterrasse ist traumhaft, man kann schön in der Sonne sitzen. Leider gibt es nur Getränke und Kuchen und ansonsten keinerlei kleine Gerichte oder Panini. Das mickrige Stück Kuchen für 5.50 € war fast schon frech, das waren gerade mal 3 Gabeln voll, vollkommen überteuert. Die Getränke waren preislich noch ok.
