Fiaschetteria Marini In Roma

Good traditional Roman restaurant a couple of streets away from the touristic areas. Calm atmosphere with vintage vibes, menu changes daily with fresh ingredients. They were a but startled when we arrived at the opening time, but managed to find us a table and serve us rapidly. Artichoke was great and carbonara too. Would have appreciated a larger selection of wines by the glass, but good they focus on regional ones. Recommended.

Good food but.... It's clear that tourists don't want them. Answer: 1) despite having booked and there being no one there, you put us at a table attached to a column (out of politeness we didn't say anything). 2) we wanted to order and the second waiter, without anything in hand, reluctantly stopped 3) we ordered and the bread proposed by the same waiter never arrived to be baked. 4) the second course did not arrive and the waiter who had taken the order did not look at our table at all. 5) the girl who saw us apologized and proceeded to bring the famous bread and the second course. 6) the waiter who took the order, perhaps because he was busy chatting with acquaintances/friends/colleagues and clearly grumpy, didn't even bat an eyelid when leaving the restaurant.

Excellent environment, friendly and very Roman. I recommend the cod with chickpea cream and black cabbage.

Authentic experience, excellent carbonara

Hands down my favorite meal in Rome. When we found this gem we were looking for where locals eat. We found it. There was a bunch of us in our party (13 ppl). Loud, obnoxious, hungry Americans. The staff were amazing. I made friends immediately with the staff. Their English wasn’t great, my Italian was non existent. Didn’t matter. They were amazing and helpful. The only thing better than the service was the food. Omg. Insanely good. I will come back to Rome just to go to this restaurant again. Grazie mille!

Everything exceptional: atmosphere, quality of the dishes and selection of wines. Really honest prices. I went with a bit of skepticism and completely changed my mind.

Absolutely loved that restaurant. The food is delicious, the service lovely, prices absolutely wow. 11€ and 13€ for 2 amaazing plates of italian pasta. Modernly renovated but kept a traditional style! loved it!

Buoni piatti senza fronzoli, porzioni giuste. Locale carino che mantiene l'atmosfera di una vecchia osteria romana. Servizio rapido e personale molto cortese. In due abbiamo preso: antipasto misto della casa (x2 persone), 2 primi (tonnarelli gricia e pasta e ceci), 2 secondi (polpette al sugo e baccalà con ceci e cavolo nero), una bottiglia di acqua, un calice di vino rosso, 2 amari e 2 cestini di pane. Totale 97€.

Mi trovavo a Roma per lavoro, e volevo assaggiare una buona carbonara, e l ho trovata al 100%. Servizio veloce e puntuale Consigliato
