Typical restaurant in central Rome, photos on the walls, empathetic staff. Good quality food. But not paper napkins!

Small trattoria in the heart of Rome. Very good food and an intimate and quiet environment, at least inside.

What can I say? We ate divinely, we were curious to try some typical Roman dishes and the coda alla vaccinara is really top!! Very friendly and helpful staff. Absolutely recommended

Great service, food, atmosphere, ambiance. Close to the Spanish steps.
The waiters working hustled us in and so glad they did, the food was delicious and waked away so full. If you've read my reviews in the past you know that my husband and I tend to share a meal no matter where we go because portions are so large and we hate to waste food. This occasion was no exception. After a long day of sight seeing and ready to collapse we walked down a little side alley and it brought us to Fiaschetteria Beltramme. After our amazing pasta lunch, we were looking for yet another delicious pasta dish (yes, we went crazy on Pasta in Italy...).
It's not just about the pasta in Italy, it's about the "fresh, homemade pasta" - We started with buffalo mozzarella app, with fresh cherry tomatoes and arugula. It was light, refreshing and delicious, followed right into our main course of Tonnarelli alla Corsara (handmade pasta with cherry tomatoes and mussels with pecarino cheese and pepper). The presentation was beautiful (sadly we didn't take pictures, we lived in the moment). The waiters graciously split the portion into two in front of us and when I say we had at least 10-15 mussels each, I am not exaggerating. They were perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth. The pasta was perfectly al dente and delicious. The portion was so large that even after splitting the initial portion, my husband had to eat 1/2 of my portion. We did not stay for dessert, but what some of the table near us enjoyed looked amazing.
My only complaint, and it was our own fault, we took this cute little two top in front of the window for our seat and 1. it was difficult to get in and 2. there was little air movement near us (now keep in mind it's August, the temps have been in the high 90s and it's 9p and the temps are still in the high 80s), again it was our fault, we should've asked to be reseated, but we were so tired after walking 15 miles for the day that we just wanted to relax a moment and we did. As long as we didn't think about the heat, we were fine. LOL..
Every waiter was kind, efficient and took very good care of us. Would definitely go back.

Locale storico che serve cucina tipica romana con un ampio menù. Camerieri molto simpatici e gentili. Servizio veloce e piatti molto abbandonanti.
