Excellent service, location, and food.

In true Italian fashion, the table spacing is *tight* but, Americans are bigger... so. That said. I think we were greeted by the actual owner, or at least someone very passionate about his job, because he made a point to show us every article & piece of art he was proud of in the restaurant, as he lead us to our seat. It was charming, even though we didn't speak Italian enough to understand even 1/3rd of what he was trying to brag about. It was endearing, none the less. Waiters spoke English which was welcome; they also must deal with USA and Canadians a lot, because they came back to check on us several times, and offered additional drinks and such; this is not common in Rome/Italy. The music was also a mix of top 40 from the 80s and 90s. Interesting as well.

Very nice place, delicious, and quaint. Unlike other restaurants here, when you eat one of their dishes, you experience Roman history and cuisine. The only dish I probably wouldn't recommend is the amatriciana.

Mi è stato consigliato, e il consiglio è stato decisamente top. L’accoglienza di Valerio molto gradita, una cacio e pepe da urlo… Mi ha fatto pensare che se vivessi a Roma probabilmente peserei 80 kg. 😅 Prodotti di qualità, prezzo corretto. Ti trovi in una strada piena di movimento, per cui è piacevole anche andare a mangiare da soli.

Vinimos a cenar y pedimos una variedad de artículos para compartir. El prosciutto + melone era tacaño. . podría haber incluido más melone. Las pastas eran una bolsa mixta - pasta vongole era bueno (almejas diminutas) , boloñesa estaba bien (demasiado parmeggiano) , amatriciana era buen sabor pero pasta empapada. La ternera frita sonaba interesante así que probamos eso. Es básicamente papel fino schnitzel - no pediría de nuevo. Era fino y seco, apenas carne. La insalada mista era muy bueno y refrescante. También apreciar el precio de su vino de la casa, que es bastante sabroso.
