The real panissa and thank goodness there are still places like this. Those who complain should go eat elsewhere in some aseptic chain in every sense. Let's hope this piece of history never closes.

Very small and rather cramped place, with a tradition that has been handed down for over 40 years thanks to the owners themselves. I tried this typical street food out of curiosity (3 euros of panissa): the price is right and the flavor overall good, but the experience leaves something to be desired in other aspects. The oil used for frying seemed rather old and dark, and the fried smell is so intense that it literally leaves you soaked. Hygiene leaves something to be desired: the lady serving handles both food and money without wearing gloves or washing her hands.

Simply fantastic. Street food to TRY. PANISSA AS IT'S ONLY MADE IN SAVONA FANTASTIC BACALLA DI BORAGINE COD FRITTERS. SMALL PLACE WITH AN ANCIENT FLAVOR IN A SMALL ALLEY IN THE HISTORIC CENTER. Fantastic husband and wife always with a smile. They recently reopened and the whole city shared the joy of rediscovering the joy of their food which has been passed down from one generation to the next for many years

After months of closure, it finally reopened and I was able to try this historic activity in Savona! Inside the restaurant you can breathe the air of the past, a spartan environment, without too many frills. The quality of the slices (fried panissa) was really high, the best I've ever eaten. The focaccia was stuffed well. Friendly and fast service. Low and fair prices for what is offered. Advised!

UNICO posto al mondo dove mangiare veramente una Panissa meravigliosa, come se stessi a casa dei nonni. Auguro lunga vita a questi due signori che mantengono viva la tradizione di questa bella città. <3
