Top breakfasts, snacks and aperitifs! A unique place to enjoy good food in a truly relaxing environment surrounded by wonderful books that can be consulted and purchased.

We went for breakfast this morning: even though it was only 8.30, there were a few pastries on the small display stand, along with a few other sweets, so I chose the only classic and timeless cream croissant, along with a cappuccino. The dough was well flaky and honeycombed, generously sized, with little cream inside but velvety and rich in quality egg yolks and vanilla. The gentleman who served us was kind and helpful to our requests. Certainly the truly special thing about this place is not the food itself, which they explained to us is partly from their small laboratory, partly from the production of an external pastry shop, but the location with attention to every detail, all bon ton and literary themed, and the magical, relaxing and refined atmosphere.

I was there for breakfast and I must say it was a really nice place. The croissants are good, the prices are certainly a little higher than the usual bars for breakfast or aperitifs... but I have to say that for the atmosphere it's really worth it!

A beautiful bistro where you are immersed in flowers and books (also for sale), they serve tea in rococo style cups and teapots. The food is normal, the staff are so-so (an extra smile wouldn't hurt), you go there above all for the quiet and very special environment. High prices.
