We went for breakfast this morning: even though it was only 8.30, there were a few pastries on the small display stand, along with a few other sweets, so I chose the only classic and timeless cream croissant, along with a cappuccino. The dough was well flaky and honeycombed, generously sized, with little cream inside but velvety and rich in quality egg yolks and vanilla. The gentleman who served us was kind and helpful to our requests. Certainly the truly special thing about this place is not the food itself, which they explained to us is partly from their small laboratory, partly from the production of an external pastry shop, but the location with attention to every detail, all bon ton and literary themed, and the magical, relaxing and refined atmosphere.

I was there for breakfast and I must say it was a really nice place. The croissants are good, the prices are certainly a little higher than the usual bars for breakfast or aperitifs... but I have to say that for the atmosphere it's really worth it!

A beautiful bistro where you are immersed in flowers and books (also for sale), they serve tea in rococo style cups and teapots. The food is normal, the staff are so-so (an extra smile wouldn't hurt), you go there above all for the quiet and very special environment. High prices.

A while ago we went for a birthday. The very beautiful environment. It feels like being at home in France. We ate lots of little bites. The colorful rolls were my favorite.

A real shame that such a nice place where you can eat well is run by a lady who is not very kind and not very inclined towards hospitality!! The place is not suitable for children so if you can avoid bringing them the owner will be grateful!

Nice place, but terrible management and hospitality. 4 of us came, and 3/4 of the things ordered were "finished", some of which the waitresses didn't even know what they were. He also got the order wrong: 2 coffees and 2 bitters (chosen from those he had left), and 2 correct coffees arrived at the table. Furthermore, on the menu, a glass of water appears not to be paid for, only to then discover at the cash register that it must instead be paid for. It may be a printing error, but in any case it is incorrect. Really bad management and very unprepared girls.

29/05/2025: ATTENTION rating for only one visit made and only one lunch with a single type, the hamburger! I rarely go out on a limb in reviews like this with so many 5⭐ for the subcategories, but the place is nice with more food options, the service had for lunch during the week with moderate influx (dining room and outdoor area not full), good, attentive, non-invasive, helpful and friendly. The dishes seen going around the room were inviting... As a first and only impression at the moment, positive. What did I try? Hamburger with crispy raw ham and buffalo mozzarella. A very "tight" and unusual combination if you like, or "obvious", raw ham and buffalo mozzarella is a classic, but brought to a hamburger, it was quite a gamble, but I would say almost spot on! The idea is good and in any case the result is very appreciable, even if "sacrificing" a raw ham by cooking it gave me goosebumps, but in truth the sandwich came out well. The portion of chips that accompanies it is generous, as is the basil leaf that gives a fresh note to everything. We are not in "good" Milan or central Milan (which I would avoid like the plague, since it is now only for foreigners) but the place is nice and spot on and the contents, if they are like the sandwich, justify the prices, well done guys, also for the menu proposals, including the desserts. I will definitely find a way to return to try the rest, of course not knowing Lesmo I can't say much, but it certainly has its reasons for a place like this...it's there! Just to finish, I also tried the dessert, cheesecake with berries, not the best I've tried, but well made. If they had the "carot chake" I know who would often come here for sandwich and cake!

12/03/2025: Ristorante molto accogliente, con un'atmosfera informale ma molto curata. Cibo di ottima qualità, con materia prima ricercata e di primissima qualità . Ottime anche le competenze sia da parte dello chef che dello staff, sempre attenti alla spiegazione dei piatti ed al servizio. Prezzi in linea con il target che il ristorante vuole dare di sé e per la qualità del cibo e del servizio.
