We were at this restaurant on Saturday night and we were really enthusiastic about it. The atmosphere is welcoming, with attention to detail, the staff is kind, attentive but never intrusive, they made us feel pampered from the beginning to the end of the evening. The menu offers interesting dishes, well balanced between tradition and creativity. Excellent value for money and more than adequate portions. A special praise to the owner Simona, a very kind and helpful lady. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back.

Very good mixed fried food. Good and richly topped pizza. Mine, unfortunately, although very rich (zucchini, yellow cherry tomatoes and honey mushrooms) was a bit watery; in another pizza (iron? I don't remember) sausage and porcini mushrooms were a distant memory; the one with Martina's capocollo and the one with burratina and bresaola were excellent. Even though the place was packed, the waiting times were acceptable and the staff was very kind. Decent selection of beers: the Roja tasted of nothing, alas.

Definitely to be recommended to friends and strangers.. Lovely and extremely welcoming environment, proactive and smiling staff despite the place being full and busy.. tasty food and definitely fair bill.. very good.

Everything was excellent, the owners were very good. Very kind staff, to underline Giuseppe's great professionalism and courtesy. Fast service even on weekends when the place is full. The location is beautiful, both inside and outside.

23/07/2025: Last night we had the opportunity to try this restaurant, Matarò, for the first time. We found the location to be very thoughtful... thanks to all the staff, we received an excellent welcome. There is table service, always friendly, and among the many choices on the menu, we wanted to try several typical local dishes, such as frisa Salentina, pittule Salentine, and the various types of fried foods, all excellent! The pizza and puccia, their specialties, were exquisite, their signature dish! We will definitely return, and I thank Mataró again for satisfying our palate and providing us with a delicious dinner.

10/07/2025: We've had the pleasure of dining at Il Mulino di Alcantara, located in Felline (Lecce), on several occasions, and each time the experience has been extremely positive. The restaurant creates a welcoming and refined atmosphere, ideal for any occasion. The staff is always helpful, professional, and friendly, offering helpful suggestions on dishes and ensuring the highest quality service. The carefully prepared and high-quality cuisine uses fresh ingredients and is meticulously presented, making each dish a true pleasure. We highly recommend Il Mulino di Alcantara to anyone seeking a high-quality dining experience in a refined, family-friendly atmosphere. We will continue to enjoy it and look forward to returning soon.
08/07/2025: In my opinion, the place is quite touristy, but the quality of the ingredients is very good. The cuisine is primarily seafood-based. The only downside is that the tiramisu was served completely frozen. An unforgivable mistake for someone who claims to be a high-end restaurant.
