Ottimo posto per mangiare e bere bene. Eravamo in 3 e abbiamo preso un antipasto centrale dello chef e un primo a testa. Selezione incredibile di vini, abbiamo preso una bottiglia di vino naturale. Location incredibile all'interno di un "sasso".

We had dinner at the Fermento Wine Bar Restaurant where Donatella, the owner, welcomed us in an impeccable and natural way. Particular place, very very beautiful and well-kept place where you can eat wonderfully. Congratulations to Donatella and chef Stefano. Good guys!

If you want to eat a very special meal, this is the place. Beautiful presentation, great service. It is set in amazing surroundings , a Sassi Cave which has been transformed into a space to enjoy the ambience. Just off the piazza San Francesco ipogeo. Find it and enjoy! There is a small sign at the top of the steps.

Excellent alternative to the tourist places of the city, refined and original environment, very kind staff, excellent cuisine and a very fun and interesting wine list. If you are looking for an honest and genuine place this is the right choice. Well done!

29/08/2024: I was there almost 2 months ago. After visiting Aliano, a very interesting place and the tomb of Carlo Levi, we went to eat at Mrs. Sisina's in Aliano. Nice place and polite staff. Lunch was fantastic with the many courses of starters, we were already full but we finished everything anyway. In the end we met Mrs. Sisina, a great, sweet and very nice woman who even took a selfie with us We promised him that we would return often and willingly.
27/08/2024: Very welcoming and family restaurant. Exclusive dishes of the Alianese and Lucanian tradition. It's difficult to give up all the excellently cooked dishes. We always have to go back

06/08/2024: Very friendly, the welcome was perfect, the place was typical and fresh and we enjoyed some very good bruschettas.
28/07/2024: I've been to Matera twice, and twice I've been here for dinner. Optimal! Very friendly staff and owners.
