My husband and I went for dinner a few months ago and were impressed by the unexpected variety of menu options. In fact, we're returning today with our kids to try something else, since the baked fish with potatoes I had and the pasta my husband had were both delicious.

Found this restaurant whilst walking through and sat for a drink. The food looked good so stayed for a meal too. Very friendly team, the food is fantastic and at reasonable prices. The Rigatoni Carbonara was especially nice. Would definitely recommend for a restaurant that is frequented by locals and very welcoming to tourists too Excellent ! 😃

We paid 120 Euros for 3 pizzas, 2 pastas, 1 salad, 2 beers, 3 coffees, 1 white wine, 1 lemonade, and 2 large waters. The price seemed reasonable for so much food and drink. Highly recommended and delicious.

Lovely restaurant, delicious food and great ambience. Found this restaurant reading Google reviews on places to eat close to the crowne plaza hotel, which is a 10-15 min walk away. The food is very nice, simple, tasty and very reasonably priced. The restaurant itself was very nicely styled. Will be returning again before the holiday ends. 👍

Well done! The atmosphere is modern yet very refined. It feels like being in New York! Young, polite, and friendly. We had the meat, which was excellent quality. The dessert they prepared was also delicious. The wine list is also excellent. Overall, a truly positive experience, and one we'll repeat.

27/09/2025: I had lunch with friends at this restaurant, and everything was very good. The place is casual but has a large outdoor area. Parking is a bit difficult, but the quality of the food, which is generously served, makes up for it.
21/09/2025: EXCELLENT!!! In the heart of eastern Rome's outskirts lies this family-run restaurant of unrivaled quality. The owners' smiles welcome you. The fish is wonderful, the prices are fair, and for those who enjoy wood-fired pizza, this is the perfect place. Below are photos of the fish I ordered, including the raw ham. We had a wonderful time, and I will definitely be back with my whole family. Hugs, and above all, thank you for your hospitality.

Osteria "Dar Matriciano"

14/09/2025: Very good, excellent service. They have a set menu that includes drinks, a platter, two fried dishes of the chef's choice, and unlimited first courses. I must say I was very satisfied. The only dish that disappointed me was the amatriciana, which tasted almost like pasta with tomato sauce.
30/08/2025: Small restaurant with about 20 tables, both inside and out. Located opposite the Ariccia town hall, below the second bridge, with street-level entrance and disabled access. You-can-eat or à la carte options are available. Friendly staff, but service is slow, especially when busy.
