30/12/2025: The Ristotram is an experience well worth the effort. The tram is beautifully designed both inside and out, and the seats are comfortable. It arrived promptly in the square, and after seating us, we were immediately served a small appetizer accompanied by prosecco. We didn't leave immediately, but the food began arriving anyway. After about half an hour, the tram began its tour, along with live music, which accompanied us throughout the ride. The music was pleasant and well-chosen, although I would have lowered the volume slightly to allow for more comfortable conversation at the table. The staff was extremely courteous and always attentive to our requests, especially considering that my wife is celiac. This wasn't a problem, as I had mentioned it when booking as indicated on the website. Water is poured by the staff, like wine, but when requested, it was always done promptly, probably also to avoid waste, which is understandable. The small portion of pasta and beans was exceptional: it's one of those dishes that seems simple, but precisely because of this, is difficult to make memorable. My wife was served without pasta, given her celiac disease; personally, I would have added some gluten-free croutons to give the dish a little something extra without overcomplicating the kitchen. The cacio e pepe risotto was very good. The pork loin, cooked at a low temperature, wasn't bad, but its texture might not be to everyone's taste: I would have preferred a braised version, which makes the meat more tender and palatable. The mashed potatoes, however, were excellent. Revisited tiramisu with pandoro and cream: a creative idea and a truly excellent cream. Coffee and limoncello were served afterwards. The tour also included a stop at the Galleria d'Arte Moderna, near Villa Borghese, allowing those who wanted to get off for a smoke. The tour ended at 11:30 PM, as scheduled. The tram driver was also very friendly. Overall, a truly successful evening and an experience definitely worthwhile. The price isn't cheap, but it's justified by the overall setting and service.
