Una experiencia maravillosa en La Fattoria di Germagnano Nuestra visita a La Fattoria di Germagnano fue un punto culminante inolvidable de nuestro viaje familiar a la Toscana. Mi esposa, nuestros tres hijos adultos, y cuatro nietos tuvieron el placer de pasar un día fantástico en esta granja ecológica. Tuvimos la suerte de reservar un recorrido por la granja, seguido de una demostración práctica - sobre el queso - y terminamos con un almuerzo fabuloso. Sara y Filippo nuestros anfitriones, eran ambos conocedores y acogedores, dando el tour en inglés mientras toleramos amablemente nuestros intentos de hablar italiano. Su pasión por la agricultura sostenible fue evidente, especialmente cuando aprendimos sobre la instalación de paneles solares en la propiedad. La granja en sí es hermosa, y la experiencia se sintió auténtica y relajada. Desde el recorrido por la granja hasta el queso - hacer y delicioso almuerzo casero, cada momento fue agradable. Está claro que Sara y Filippo se preocupan profundamente tanto por su tierra como por sus invitados. Si estás buscando una experiencia única y familiar en Toscana, te recomiendo visitar La Fattoria di Germagnano. Fue un día para recordar para todas las edades!

A Wonderful Experience at La Fattoria di Germagnano Our visit to La Fattoria di Germagnano was an unforgettable highlight of our family trip to Tuscany. My wife, our three adult children, and four grandchildren had the pleasure of spending a fantastic day at this eco-friendly farm. We were lucky enough to book a tour of the farm, followed by a hands-on cheese-making demonstration, and finished with a fabulous lunch. Sara and Filippo our hosts, were both knowledgeable and welcoming, giving the tour in English while graciously tolerating our attempts to speak Italian. Their passion for sustainable farming was evident, especially as we learned about the installation of solar panels on the property. The farm itself is beautiful, and the experience felt authentic and relaxed. From the farm tour to the cheese-making and delicious homemade lunch, every moment was enjoyable. It’s clear that Sara and Filippo care deeply about both their land and their guests. If you’re looking for a unique, family-friendly experience in Tuscany, I highly recommend a visit to La Fattoria di Germagnano. It was a day to remember for all ages!

We did really well to choose Fattoria di Germagnano for the August holiday. They thought of a format different from the restaurant and more suitable for the occasion, that is, baskets with all the dishes inside, obviously with many of their products, which can be consumed at the tables in the shade of the pine forest or spread out on the lawn with a blanket. kind of picnic. Special note of merit goes to the availability of making a gluten-free variant for me as I am intolerant, but be careful if you are celiac, unfortunately contamination cannot be guaranteed in an event with so many people. The icing on the cake is a nice cheese making demonstration before lunch. The only flaw is perhaps the road to get there which is unpaved, steep and with several potholes, obviously becoming a problem only for those who don't have a suitable car or are not familiar with mountain roads.

06/01/2025: We were here 3 times for lunch and we really like it, outside with a view of the quiet garden. The food is delicious and definitely worth the money. The Mona Lisa is said to have been painted against the background of the Ponte Romito - this is not only advertising by the owners, but is also in the travel guide.

05/12/2024: Yesterday I discovered a place that aroused continuous emotions in me. The location is a continuous surprise until the last step where the dining room is not visible and therefore the short path of a few meters that guests have to take inside this beautiful structure to observe is beautiful. The furnishings are simple in shape and materials but enhance the taste and elegance of the details placed above the tables and in the room. The "waitress" immediately manages to put you at ease with education, professionalism and passion that emerges from her gaze and in her calm but clear tone when proposing the various menus. It is an environment that I define as more classy than elegant, in the sense that you can also go there dressed casually as an outfit and not be absolutely out of place; everything else "imposes" a certain behavior that enhances the class. I found the menus interesting, curious, simple, clear and easily consultable. I decided to take the 5-course tasting and a glass of bubbles, all in conversation with the dining room staff who described every single course in a clear and easily imaginable way. Even though I am "ignorant" about wines, the choice recommended to me was a winner. The wait between one course and another was very respectable as the dishes are all made at the moment and the types of bread presented were delirious! In a good way of course!!! The dessert could not be missed and closed the circle of this high-level tasting journey! I am not a chef, I am not an expert, I am a simple Italian citizen who loves to discover new places and flavors, then giving voice to the sensations I felt from the first to the last minute I was in the restaurant. The clean toilets (not obvious) only confirmed the cleanliness, order and respect towards the customer who enters the "house". Congratulations indeed and if I have to nitpick, perhaps those 2°C of extra heat yesterday wouldn't have been bad for us. Distance is not a limit, if it's worth it and I was happy to do 100km!!!
