While exploring the medieval towns on hilly crests in the Parco delle Madonie in Sicily, we stopped for a quick coffee at the first cafe we came across in Petralia Sottana. We were blown away with the pastries and confectionery items they served us, rounded off with thick hot chocolate. You cannot go wrong with this cafe bar.

Delicious thick hot chocolate on a cold December day. Waitress from Castellana Sicula was super friendly and spoke good English. Was also good value €5 for two hot chocolates, which came with pistachio covered biscuits!
