Fang Xiang è sicuramente il miglior ristorante cinese di Bari, nonché uno dei pochi che non abbiano ceduto alle seduzioni del "fusion"; ha saputo mantenere la propria identità anche a seguito dei numerosi cambi di gestione. Ormai è l'unico ristorante in cui si possono gustare specialità quali gli gnocchi cinesi saltati, le rane fritte o l'anatra in molte varietà; e anche le pietanze "classiche" come gli spaghetti di soia o il riso saltato sono presenti in tantissime varianti, introvabili altrove. La qualità è alta e la quantità tale che un solo piatto basterà per due o tre persone, con notevole risparmio sui prezzi già bassi. L'unico inconveniente è che il locale è piccolo e la sua economia si basa principalmente sull'asporto; dunque, in serate clou come il sabato aspettatevi un grande affollamento: indispensabile prenotare e aspettarsi il caos.
