I went to eat with a friend of mine. Given the fact that both she and I work in the sector, we are always very calm and undemanding in every place we go. But the only positive thing about this restaurant was the goodness of the food, otherwise really terrible. Staff not at all professional, not to mention the chef who touched money, POS and counter with the same hands with which he then went into the kitchen to prepare the dishes. We took two pasta parcels and two montanare; all very good, shame about the hairs found on the fried pizzas. Zero hygiene, from the bathroom to the kitchen (and we were able to see this because there is nothing blocking the public's view from the cash point inside the kitchen). Normal prices for the fish dishes but too high for the rest of the menu. Too bad because the food was good.

Ristorante Pescada

31/10/2025: We spent five days in Italy and had the best meal at the Pescada restaurant. Thanks to Lucca (Villa Carlotta) for the tip. The food was truly excellent, especially the mussels – they were absolutely divine! It couldn't have been better! Highly recommended!

The setting was stunning, right by the sea, with a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere that perfectly captures the spirit of Sicily. We ordered a selection of fresh fish dishes, and every single one was exceptional — perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. You can truly taste the freshness and quality of the seafood. Each bite reflected the chef’s passion and skill, and it’s no exaggeration to say these were the best fish dishes we’ve ever had. The service was warm, attentive, and genuine — the staff made us feel so welcome and took time to explain the menu and local specialties. The combination of outstanding food, great service, and a beautiful seaside location made for an experience we’ll remember for a long time. The chef even invited into the immaculately clean and well organised kitchen to get an insight about how things work behind the scenes. Truly amazing. If you’re anywhere near San Leone, Dune is an absolute must-visit. We can’t wait to return!
