In the morning, we'd been to see the Silan waterfalls, and following the trail, we reached Valrovina. The wonderful aroma of wood-fired bread wafted through the air, leading us to the bakery. To our surprise, we realized it was much more than just a simple bakery. There were 12 of us for breakfast... fabulous brioches, and out of 12 requests, only 3 were macchiatoni. Impeccable service, with a warm and appreciated courtesy. We brought home some whole-grain bread, which, when we ate it that evening, was still soft and its crust still crunchy... Tomorrow, August 15th, we'll be back for breakfast, in the car this time.

10/04/2026: This morning we were passing through Vicenza and had breakfast at this pastry shop. I don't know what to say, we were so satisfied. The girls were very kind, the service impeccable...we created a bit of confusion by making so many requests...they were all very accommodating. There was a wide variety of pastries, but not only...small sandwiches, even vegan ones, mini pizzas; my husband even asked for a fruit salad, and at 7:00 a.m., they made it for him with ease. If we have the chance, we'll definitely be back.

Al Barco Cooperativa Insieme

16/12/2025: A lovely, small but atmospheric place, furnished with recycled items sold at the next-door cooperative. Delicious vegetarian/vegan dishes and desserts, coffee, and drinks. The choice to use local water, served in carafes or glass bottles, is a great one.
28/10/2025: A lovely bar/restaurant located within a social cooperative. Nice atmosphere, informal but well-maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is good! They also serve sandwiches outside of regular hours.
