I often go to this pastry shop, and I have to say it's one of the best in the area. Delicious trays of savory and sweet treats, well made and with a lot of choice. Fantastic staff. Kind, courteous and always available, both boys and girls. Highly recommended ♥️♥️♥️

The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a sandwich with tuna, lettuce, mayonnaise, and tomato on soft bread for €3.50. A slice of Torta della Nonna was delicious for €3.00. I highly recommend it.

Excellent product, we knew that. For those who love brigidini, there's nothing more to add... the surprise was the delivery. A beautiful package, perfectly wrapped, package after package, excellent in this aspect too) so 5 across the board.

I can't understand how anyone can get out of bed in the morning to go to breakfast in this place!! It's crowded with people, it looks like a school cafeteria... 2/3 dogs inside barking at each other... incredible confusion between screams of people and pets!! Then it says quality bar... but honestly I drank a coffee that was shameful, to say the least, of very poor quality!! More than a high-quality bar/pastry shop, it seems like a cafeteria to me!! There are many better choices in Montecatini.

I didn't have high expectations when purchasing, but I can say that everything was perfect. The quality was excellent, the gluten-free products were well received, and the delivery was on time. The only downside was that the brigidini arrived very crumbled, and the packaging needs to be reviewed.

As always, it lived up to my expectations... I bought the wafers, a sweet memory of my childhood. From the first bite, I felt like I was transported back to when I vacationed in Montecatini with my grandparents and every afternoon we'd stop at the Desideri shop to enjoy a wafer together. Thank you for your professionalism.

For breakfasts, desserts, shopping, and quick business lunches, like ours. Particularly popular, reservations recommended. A well-established business offering quality products and therefore well-known in the area. Indoor and outdoor spaces, weather permitting. Downside: the loud music: making conversation difficult, you have to force yourself.

Excellent pastry shop, great for breakfast. Yeast-based pastries for all tastes and freshly filled croissants. The atmosphere is lovely, and the staff is fast and friendly. They're famous for their Montecatini wafers.

04/01/2026: Wonderful experience! I've never had a better Florentine steak. Frankly, the price was even too low for the quality of the food we ate. I HIGHLY recommend it!
30/12/2025: We chose this restaurant on a beautiful Sunday in November, inspired by the numerous positive reviews, and I must say we were completely satisfied! We sat in the second room, more modern and welcoming than the entrance, and immediately appreciated the elegant yet unpretentious atmosphere and the kindness of the staff. Pappardelle with wild boar ragù, fried porcini mushrooms, a delicious roasted porcini mushroom cap, and the inevitable steak! A good red wine accompanied it, and a cream-filled millefeuille for dessert. What can I say... it was an absolutely satisfying lunch. We waited a bit for the meat, probably because the place was crowded, but it was absolutely worth it: quality produce, cooked properly, and beautifully presented... Excellent! The pappardelle with wild boar thrilled the kids, and the mushrooms were the icing on the cake of a lunch that simply leaves you wanting more. Considering the quality of the product, the bill seemed fair for what we ordered. Parking might be a bit difficult along the road that runs through this small corner of Nievole; I'd recommend arriving 10 minutes before rush hour. Otherwise, "Il Pellegrino" keeps all its promises and offers customers a totally positive experience! Top marks!

01/03/2026: We had a wonderful meal, excellent service, and delicious dishes. I recommend the maltagliati. We'll definitely be back.
24/02/2026: A thrilling experience for the palate. Traditional dishes revisited by an excellent chef. I recommend the tripe in white sauce with truffles. Unrivaled. Everything we tried was excellent: the "gocchi" (a type of pasta) as an appetizer, and the truffle gnudi as a main course. The service was attentive, courteous, and witty, but without being overbearing. I recommend it to everyone. We'll definitely be back.
