Abbiamo prenotato di persona in mattinata chiedendo espressamente a causa della giornata afosa un tavolo all’interno. Quando siamo arrivati la sera per mangiare si presenta un tipo con il codino che in modo piuttosto sgarbato ed arrogante insiste di farci accomodare all’esterno asserendo che all’interno non avrebbe potuto garantire un servizio adeguato(????). Abbiamo comunque insistito per il tavolo all’interno e dal quel momento è filato tutto liscio con i (altri) camerieri gentilissimi e il cibo come da nostre aspettative.

A very attractive and great restaurant! I can't understand the negative reviews. Maybe some things have changed since then. The service was perfect and everyone spoke excellent English. The food was wonderful and the tables were far enough apart (because someone said it was too close). Very interesting and extensive wine list! The meat is carved at the table by the chef. Definitely a recommendation for a nice evening with fine dining!

Exciting wine menu, excellent food, service was friendly and attentive. We had the vitello tonnato, beef filet and grilled octopus. We don’t understand why the rating is only 3.5. From our experience this place is 4.5 or higher.

Take a walk in the historic center behind Piazza Unità and you find yourself in a maze of streets, in particular in Androna del Pane, an ancient street where the Servolane sold bread, and you discover this very nice and elegant Extra Bacco Dehors restaurant. The dishes offered are delicious, they use quality products and the list of wines offered from the Friuli Venezia Giulia area is also varied. Both fish-based and meat-based dishes are offered. For anyone passing through Trieste or on holiday, I highly recommend this restaurant. Enjoy your meal

A dinner not to be forgotten: the chef's delicious cuisine and the impeccable service of Andrea and Jeff! After dinner, with heavy rain they helped us until we found the taxi with the umbrella!

Immerso in un angolo suggestivo di Trieste, a due passi da piazza Unità. Un locale con Eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo unitamente a cortesia e alla professionalità che spazia dal menù alla qualità dei vini.

26/08/2024: I love this place which I have been frequenting since more than 10 years ago. I am extremely pleased that they have not changed the decoration, the tables, the menus, everything remains pleasantly as it once was, with the same charm and the same quality. The pizzas have their own special touch, they are not made with the usual exaggerated crust that is so fashionable but with the right size, not excessively large but not flattened either. The salads are also gorgeous. The service is professional, fast and with an excellent quality-price ratio. The pizza with porchetta is delicious, even the one with aubergines or with fried potatoes.
15/08/2024: Well made dough, optimal cooking and clean underneath. Proportionate seasoning… the pizza is a bit small. I don't feel like judging the home service as it loses quality during transport... Advise.

Agriturismo Mezzaluna

16/08/2024: Agriturismo immerso nel verde in una posizione alta e fresca. Menu vario, cucina tipica del Carso e personale molto cordiale. Pranzo di ferragosto riuscito benissimo con piano bar di accompagnamento che ha allietato il nostro tempo.
06/08/2024: Consigliatissimo. Cena buonissima con carne fantastica, servita all'esterno, personale gentilissimo. Consigliato anche il soggiorno, camere belle, particolari, colazione buona ed un grandissimo parco circostante. Tutto molto bello. Da provare. Marzia e Fabrizio
