Excalibur In Ovada

A nice surprise in this beautiful town which is very similar to a small village in Liguria... rich menu of fish but also meat... and of course pizza... I had paccheri with squid and I must say that they were well made and well presented... at fair prices for the quality offered... the tiramisu was also good... the service was excellent... if I'm in the area I will return.

We entered by chance on January 5th, returning from France, and chose this restaurant based on the reviews. We ate very well, mixed fried and sliced. Perfect, we will definitely be back

Christmas Day Review. Given that we never go out to eat on this day, this year we wanted to spend a different day, aware that it was a risk due to the quantity of people at the expense of quality. With local friends we spent a nice day with good food. Excellent starters especially the artichoke flan. Very delicate. The plin ravioli with an exceptional capon broth is a must. The paccheri for my taste are a little lacking in salt. The braised meat was good but with a hint of cloves that was a little too invasive, at least for my tastes. The cream with the panettone is good. Finally, not to be underestimated is the service. With everything to do with the room full and people arriving at different times, the staff in the room were always on point and with a smile even after hours of work. Well done everyone.
