A wonderful evening! Not only did we enjoy delicious food, the wine pairings were perfect 👌🏻 The staff was very friendly and gave us great advice! We highly recommend this place – and if you're up for it, you can even chat with the owners for hours at the end of the evening 🤩

Great spot - the service was the best I had in Ortigia. The server took the time to explain each of the wines and chose a selection for me, each one a great wine. While the food looks simple each element had a unique taste to it. Wasn’t cheap but was worth the experience, especially as a solo traveller who wanted to taste a variety of Sicilian flavours.

I come here for the wine. Been here a few times. Nice place where you can come alone and also with friends/family. You feel welcome, seen. There are nice wines and interesting stories. Go here for a wine tasting of 3, 4 or 5 half glasses. Let the (English speaking) owner surprise you. Enough choice. Price/quality is good. Food is secondary for me but certainly appropriate. For me the best wine bar in Siracusa!

Wonderful wine tasting experience! Excellent selection of Sicilian wines! The wine sommelier is very knowledgeable, he explained the region, grapes, produce process and profile of each wine.

We came here twice on our 3 night stay in Ortigia. Absolutely blown away by the knowledge of the sommelier, we gave him some information of the style of wines we prefer, and he proceeded to bring out glass after glass of some of the best tasting wine we have ever had, and all from Sicily. Each wine was accompanied by the information of the specific area the wine was grown, altitude grown, etc. Would 100% recommend a visit here if in Syracuse.

We had a great time today! The wine selection (2 rosé, 2 red) was excellent, and the waiter provided excellent presentations, including information about the wines, the growing regions, and the grape varieties used. The paninis were fresh and well-filled.

Fantastic food with great wines! We shared several dishes and everything we got was great: from the focaccia with panchette and burrata, to the bruschettas and orange salad with anchovies. You might just walk past it, but don't! Highly recommended!

Un lugar tan relajante para disfrutar de hermosos vinos y probar algunos quesos y carnes locales - el propietario es tan apasionado por sus vinos y es tan amable y acogedor - un lugar encantador y entre nuestros favoritos para el vino y platos pequeños. Comimos una vez, pero fuimos tres veces por bebidas y mordiscos, ya que era un lugar encantador.

Nous avons adoré ce bar à vin à la classe décontractée Nous avons été conseillés par le patron passionné d'œnologie pour une découverte de vins siciliens d'exception accompagnés d'une petite restauration raffinée à base de produits locaux. Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement.

06/07/2025: As tourists, my family and I found ourselves in Lentini and were looking for a restaurant to have lunch at, we happened to pass by there and found a very welcoming place and delicious typical food. Good value for money. We were also able to take a mini tour of the place. Advice. And new, now also open on Sundays in the summer.
16/06/2025: I have an advantage because I have seen this restaurant born and evolve over time. I hadn't been there for at least 15 years because I no longer live in Sicily and the times I returned, it was closed. When I realized it was open last week, I immediately booked so I could share a piece of my history with my wife. Salvo opened especially for us and welcomed us in a rustic and refined environment at the same time. His dishes were a return to the past. Scents and flavors mixed with memories and led us towards a captivating gastronomic experience. Salvo explained the dishes to us, their history, their secrets. My wife, who is not Sicilian, was thus able to learn a piece of my tradition. She recommends it to anyone who wants to approach traditional cuisine, to anyone who is aware of the quality of the raw materials, to anyone who would never ask for strawberries in January, to anyone who wants to eat well, once in a while, without rushing.

31/05/2025: A very good restaurant in Syracuse. A warm welcome and helpful staff. The dishes are delicious and perfectly cooked. A very good place. I recommend it.
31/05/2025: 100% recommended! Exquisite quality and service. Don't miss the fish carbonara, or the fish of the day. We tried the bluefin tuna belly, and it was spectacular.
