Not many people were there in February. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. The cheese and meat platter was delicious and the wine was reccomended beutifully.

We had lunch here on 23rd of December 2025. Me and my fiancé were the only customers. You could sense that it is a family enterprise run with passion, without being "touristy". The food felt like home-cooked: simple dishes, served from old ceramic plates and bowls. The cutest doggy, Teddy, was happily greeting us - a great bonus. The staff was accommodating and had suggestions outside of the menu. Nice decor and most importantly is was quiet (no music blasting unlike in many other places in Italy, unfortunately).

The reviews are all true. And I can second the review that says it was the best meal I had in Sicily. Orange salad, carpaccio, lentil soup and the artichoke spread were incredible. The service was amazing too. Thank you!

We had the best experience here. The wine tasting experience will be forever remembered. The owners are very knowledgeable about the wine regions and explaining everything! We had some of the best red wine and including a picture for information on the bottle we loved! We will be back!

Great wine bar, excellent service from the knowledgeable owner. Had a couple of Sicilian wine varieties I’d not yet tried and the Fava Bean soup with cheese. Enjoyable experience.

16/11/2025: It was absolutely amazing the food is outstanding, nice restaurant in a calm street and very friendly service.
14/11/2025: There were three of us, and we had caponata and red shrimp cannoli as appetizers: truly delicious! The risotto, tuna paccheri, and tuna steak were also delicious.

16/01/2026: Good food in a nice ambient, with a pleasant service! I tried Sicilian typical orange salad several times during this trip, but here was the most delicious and fresh 😋
08/01/2026: BiancoPepe easily accommodated 9 hungry British tourists, and ably and enthusiastically served by Christian, we were fed delicious pizzas, pasta, salad, desserts and beer and wine. The price was very reasonable and the ambience was great. We went on the recommendation of a friend, and I happily pass on the recommendation to anyone who cares to read this review.
