An excellent hotel in the center of Domodossola

The hotel is very close to the train station. The receptionist was friendly and attentive. The room was very clean, tidy, and fragrant. The food was delicious. A short stay, but I definitely recommend it :)

Excellent, truly well-maintained and welcoming hotel in the center of Domodossola, opposite the train station. The property is well-maintained, the staff very friendly, and the stay was truly comfortable. The rooms are small but very nice; be careful with the single rooms, as the bathroom is really narrow and could be a bit uncomfortable for tall or fit people. Otherwise, it was a truly pleasant stay.

I needed to stay one night in Domodossola because I had to have an eye operation at the S. Biagio hospital. I found a nice, clean hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful. Having problems with my eyesight as well as my movement, I asked if it was possible to have something to eat in the room, and what I ordered arrived promptly, a fantastic risotto with courgettes and baked potatoes. The following morning they arranged for me to take a taxi to the hospital. Perhaps the only flaw is that the hotel is closed at night and there is no one at the reception in case of need, but I repeat, everything else was perfect. Absolutely recommended.

Good location, small, nice, clean rooms. Friendly staff. The coffee (fully automatic) at breakfast isn't tasty, which is a shame. I also don't think that's okay, especially since breakfast is included.

Ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, aber gewisse Abzüge in der kulinarischen Ausgestaltung. Das Lokal ist sehr schön, die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Ich habe das vollständige Degustationsmenü gewählt. Vorweg: Es ist seinen Preis wert. Und trotzdem hat es mich nicht vollständig überzeugt. Häufig ist in den einzelnen Gängen etwas zu viel.. sei es an der Menge (z.B. beim Gruss aus der Küche oder beim warmen Voressen oder dann an der Menge an Brot - das grenzt an Lebensmittelverschwendung...) oder an den verschiedenen Fleischkonstellationen (z.B. beim warmen Voressen). Der Blaukäse war toll, aber so intensiv, dass er bis in den süssen Nachtisch hinein präsent war (Zabaione). Dieses wiederum war hervorragend, falls man es auf das Zabione aus der Pfanne begrenzt hätte (all das bunte Süsszeug auf dem Teller war eigentlich unnötig und hat von der Essenz des Zabiones abgelenkt). Ähnlich war es beim warmen Voressen... der Apfel in den Voltini (oder was es war) hätte einen saureren Geschmack haben dürfen. Noch einmal: Das war ein sehr schöner kulinarischer Abend und er war es wert. Aber ich wünsche der Küche mehr Fokus auf den reinen Geschmack...

Locale molto curato con personale estremamente professionale ma simpatico e cordiale. Piatti eccezionali presentati benissimo. Sapori unici ed equilibrati. Una vera gioia per il palato. Complimenti allo chef e alla sua gentilissima consorte.
