Ettore a Santa Lucia is one of those pizzerias in Naples that offers you the pleasure of tasting the classic Neapolitan pizza.
It's leavened just right, so it doesn't turn into something soft and watery that becomes inedible.
Ingredients like flour, water, tomato, and mozzarella, perfectly assembled by hand, give you, when the pizza arrives at the table, the pleasure and taste of biting into it, devouring it voraciously, appreciating its deliciousness.
The cuoppo is also delicious, a dish composed of a mix of fried foods made of pure deliciousness.
I always return to Ettore's when I pass through Naples.

It was a small, warm, and welcoming place, even if it was crowded. Now I'm back with that memory in mind and was disappointed to find it shabby, empty, and a little run-down. The staff remains courteous and the food is of acceptable quality...but food isn't everything!

This was a wonderful find! The staff were so friendly and helpful and the pizza was outstanding. I’ve been to Naples more than once and I can guarantee this is right at the top for pizza quality and choice. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

First time: by chance because it was close to the Grand Vesuvio Hotel...
Second time because we were so happy with the first time!
Generous, excellent, with a clientele of regulars (which is a good sign)... the pan-fried clams and the swordfish steak: mmmmmmmmm ^^
We give them 21/20 ;-)
