Dinner organized by longtime friends, a delightful discovery, the fish was incredibly fresh. The hot appetizer was excellent, unique but not overly sophisticated, a mix of unique flavors: tzatziki with amberjack skewer, octopus (a little tough, but that can happen) on a bed of potatoes and Tropea onions, shrimp wrapped in melted mozzarella... I opted for the crostini with Cantabrian anchovies... We shared an excellent turbot stewed with Taggiasca olives, mixed fried fish with some excellent vegetables... Side dishes: excellent baked potatoes, grilled vegetables, and salad. Since the French fries are frozen, perhaps it would be a good idea to remove them from the menu.

A top recommended place, all is fresh and prepered with knowledge and experience. The row fish and the warm starters are spectacular, we went several times in 3 weeks and we tried more or less all the menu. Everithing is absolutely delicious. We definitely came back as soon as we are in Salento

The finish is of great finesse with a dessert that plays on textures and contrasts: soft, crunchy, fresh. On a Sunday so hot it put us off our planned beach relaxation, we decided to change plans and visit the city of ceramics, one of my favorite places. Although most of the shops were closed, probably due to the high temperatures, we still found a way to make our day special by having lunch at Essenza Restaurant. The culinary experience was remarkable: the seafood appetizers were exceptional, and the tagliatelle with truffles were a true masterpiece of flavor. The wine paired perfectly with the dishes, and the desserts concluded the meal sweetly and satisfyingly. An added touch of authenticity was being able to watch the chefs at work in an impeccably clean kitchen, a testament to their professionalism and passion for their work. Essenza Ristorante was the undisputed star of the day, transforming a scorching Sunday into a memorable gastronomic experience!
