Escobrillo In Roma

I'll just say we were in Rome for four days and had dinner there every day. It's so nice when people love their jobs, work with joy, and their quality product is also at a super competitive price. 100% recommended. We'll take home wonderful memories of our time in the Eternal City, thanks in part to them.

If the seats are quite full it becomes difficult to move around. The cellar is quite small.

The food, service, and people were all excellent. During our stay in Italy, we found this little place by chance. It's 100% family-run and Italian, with the best seasoning we tried during our 12-day trip. The pasta Gricia was delicious, the bistecca di mazon tender and rich. The Bosco pizza for dinner was next level. Oh! And the classic tiramisu, definitely the best I've ever had. Despite the language barrier, with my half-chewed Italian and a translation app, we understood each other perfectly. We made ourselves understood, and they treated us like VIP guests. I later had the opportunity to chat with the owner and his family to tell them how delicious our meal was; I basically felt like part of the family. Thank you, family, for your hospitality and attention. You made us feel at home, and the food was excellent. The best in Italy.

Excellent food and reasonably priced

Excellent very light Roman pizza. Even the sandwich we tried had bright flavors, the only flaw was the filling that came out and made it a little more difficult to eat. Among the off-menu items was the fried cod fillet which I found to be one of the best I've ever eaten.

An atmosphere of serene beauty envelops this restaurant, making it an ideal place for a pleasant evening. The pasta is a true triumph of flavours, cooked with great quality. The pizza also deserves particular praise, with a fragrant dough and tasty toppings. I have had the opportunity to try this pizza with mortadella and pistachio elsewhere, but I must say that this time I was very satisfied. The service was perfect, and not suffocating. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.

Fuimos de viaje a Roma, y nos alojamos por la zona. El día de la llegada cogimos una pizza para llevar para una de las personas, y un gran acierto, excelente calidad y muy buen precio. Unos días después decidimos ir a cenar, y aunque era domingo estaban hasta arriba, pero nos hicieron un hueco y finalmente pudimos cenar en el local. La comida excelente, y a destacar que, pese a que nosotros no hablábamos italiano, hacían esfuerzo por hacerse entender y entendernos a nosotros. Recomendable sin duda!!

On a trip to Rome we stayed in the area, and we decided to get a pizza to go the same day we arrived in the city and we weren't going to go downtown. Very good quality and at a very good price. Another day of the trip we decided to have dinner there, and although it was Sunday and they were packed, they made room for us as we went. Furthermore, even though we do not speak Italian, they did everything possible to understand us and make themselves understood. A great success to have gone to this place without a doubt!!

Un altro interessante indirizzo nella zona Appio-Latino già ricca di variegate offerte gastronomiche. Il locale è accogliente anche se un po’ piccolo. Il personale è gentile ed attento nonostante il ristorante fosse pieno. Il menù offre la pizza bassa e croccante, e piatti tipici della tradizione romana. Ottima la qualità degli ingredienti, abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato la burrata e il carciofo ala giudia.
