After an event at Radiodue, my friend Antonella and I stopped to eat at this delicious place. Pasta cacio e pepe, Radicchio cbt, sweet gorgonzola fondue and toasted walnuts and, for dessert, Apple pie with mascarpone cream. A real PLEASURE! I highly recommend this place, which has so many nice surprises in the menu. In addition, the service of Sara and Camilla is absolutely precise and welcoming.

Make way for young people. I went to this historic and well-stocked shop and I found a big difference between the very smart guy at the counter and the lazy and uncaring bald elderly man of his colleague. Patanegra was recommended as top, very good and exceptionally sweet veal. As I said at the beginning, make way for young people who make the difference (if older people don't like it, they can retire)

In the last two months I have been to Ercoli 3 times, so I have had the opportunity to try different dishes from the menu. I fell so much in love with this little place, a very famous wine shop and delicatessen in Rome. The internal room envelops you with all the wines around and makes you relax immediately. The prices are a little high, but the quality of the meats and cheeses is really high. The first courses were also excellent, but unfortunately the last time I tried the hamburger and it was rather disappointing. At the price of €35, I was expecting something Gourmet, but everything was wrong, the meat was not cooked as I wanted it to be medium, but it arrived well cooked. Poor quality bread, cold cherry tomatoes, and everything else, i.e. robiola and chestnut leaves, nothing special. All poorly assembled, and also rather cold. In short, we're not there, I hope that this criticism of mine helps to improve the dish, because Ercoli is truly a place of my heart now and I know that you can do more!

It's usually a great restaurant, and two years ago I had a cacio e pepe there that was really good. So today I went back expecting the same quality, but the cacio e pepe was terrible. There was three times as much cheese as there should be. It was basically a cheese plate with a little pasta in it. I pointed out the problem, but they charged me the full amount even though I returned half of it. So I'm not happy at all.

We were in the area for an exhibit and were looking for a place for an afternoon cocktail and stumbled on this gem (I’m not sure if they serve cocktails.)
It’s a beautiful gourmet grocery shop which specializes in freshly baked bread, cured meats, smoked fish, and artisan cheeses - combined with a bar, bistro, restaurant. The place reminded me of Roscioli on the other side of town, Ercoli however is for locals and more refined. We wanted to try a bit of everything and the kind staff accommodated us by giving us half portions. We had cured meats (duck and goose, wagyu bresaola) with foie gras, and caviar. The blini, bread, and focaccia were quite tasty as well. They had a wide variety of wines and we had a bottle of dry brut with our food.
The atmosphere was perfect, calm, inviting, and comfortable. It was a lovely, quiet Tuesday afternoon and I would be happy to return again any time.

You can also eat on site, but the strong point of the Ercoli gastronomy is the take-away food, always of the highest quality. Not popular prices, precisely justified by the quality

Locale molto carino! Dovevo organizzare una cena a casa con amici, e la direttrice è stata davvero brava nel consigliarmi formaggi e pietanze che mi hanno permesso di fare un figurone.

Ho pranzato domenica 12 gennaio presso il ristorante Ercoli in prati. Io personalmente ho preso un carciofo alla romana, cucinato veramente a mestiere ed una strepitosa tartare di avocado e salmone.il tutto accompagnato da un calice di chardonnay. da segnalare il personale sempre attento e preparato un plauso particolare alla direttrice di sala marzia decisamente una spanna, sopra tutti. Bravi, torneremo sicuramente ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo.
