Located just off the main street of Manhattan Beach Blvd, Ercole's reflects the quintessential dive bar - pool table, TVs with the sports game on, and lots of beers on tap. I came here because Reddit proclaimed this as the best burger in the South Bay. Their burger menu is fairly simple like In n Out - one or more patties, cheese or without - though they do offer a hot dog burger, and as a sign tells you, they do not offer fries, just chips as a side. While I wouldn't say Ercole's is the clear-cut best burger in town, it definitely has one of the best.

Great bar! We felt at home right away. There was a very nice group of locals when we went in. Stiff drinks at a good price. Make sure to buy a seashell, it goes to a good cause

Asked for rare hamburger. It came almost well done. Had to wait for 25 minutes for my rare burger, after they finished grilling all the other orders. No one seemed to care that everyone in our party had finished 20 minutes ago.

If you're a dive bar dive bomber in Manhattan Beach, then you've found it. Generous sized hand made boss burger with chips and two pints for under $30. In Manhattan Beach! C'mon! Pool table and plenty of TVs. Don't change a thing Ercoles. And everyone else, get there!
