Uva rara is a special place, a rare pearl in the Foggia panorama, a bit of a wine shop, a bit of a restaurant, both high-level things. The interior of the place is a living room, it has a cozy and serene atmosphere, informal and well-kept. The food is very good, both cold and hot dishes, with uncommon choices (the anchovies with Saint Marcellino are worth trying, the pork belly as well). The drinks are equally good, with excellent bottles (and not just wine, but also spirits and cocktails), and with staff who know how to help you in your choice and dedicate time to you. People are the secret ingredient of the place, once you get in tune it's like going to dinner with friends.
