Ok, neither good nor bad... for an aperitif it's ok, for eating no.

The largest brewery in the center, always open, with a wide selection of craft beers, local wines, and special rums to taste! Internal room, and a thousand tables on the most beautiful square in Gorizia!

The beer is good and so are other things, but sometimes they take a long time to serve. They should be better organised.

A rewarding experience in every way, right in the historic center, in a lively, cheerful, and welcoming Piazza Vittoria. 100% recommended.

From the food, to the craft beer, to the location in the center of Gorizia, Mama Angela was a blessing during the three days we visited the city. Especially on a Sunday evening when Gorizia wasn't open for dinner. Exceptional value for money.

Very nice place located in the main square. Excellent service and spritz accompanied by a delicious cod tartine. Perfect. Recommended.

We were there for a drink in the afternoon. We probably would have had more if the service had been a bit better and more attentive. The drink selection was plentiful, and I personally enjoyed the Aperol Spritz. But as mentioned above, you had to wait a long time for a server, and then you were completely forgotten, even though the glasses had been sitting empty on the table for over 10 minutes. After another 10 minutes, we decided to move on...

I went to Mama Angela's last night with my family during a vacation, and we were all very satisfied. The staff is young, welcoming, and very professional. Kudos to the young man who served us outside—he was kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. The girls behind the counter were also truly kind and professional. We ordered a large sliced cured meat: plentiful, beautifully presented, and more than reasonably priced, considering the quantity and quality of the cured meats. The toasted sandwich was also exceptional. The mojito was a real pleasure to drink—balanced, beautifully decorated, and with attention to detail. We also tried Ferdinand's Ribolla Gialla, which turned out to be delicious. The terrace is one of the restaurant's strong points: meticulously cared for, with plants that make the atmosphere even more welcoming and lively. Fair prices, a friendly atmosphere, and impeccable service: an excellent stop for vacationers and locals alike. We'll definitely be back!
