Enoteca Le Barrique In Firenze

We went to the barrique for a stag party to do a tasting, we organized it via email as we don't live in the area, Iacopo immediately gave me the impression of a very prepared person and above all passionate about his work, something that he transmits to people in an impressive way, so we took a risk, we gave a budget and gave all the cards in his hand. We were really, really satisfied. Able to speak in a technical way but understandable to those who don't know much about wine. He made us have a lot of fun, between jokes and comparisons, in the end he became passionate and enchanted even those who didn't care about wine! He managed to satisfy even those who have "food problems". In short, a more than excellent experience!!! If a stag party ever happens again and we return to the Florence area we will definitely see each other again!!!

The wine list is well stocked and the staff is super helpful, kind and competent. They recommended perfect pairings, making the experience even more special. Great atmosphere and service. They played French jazz in the background with candles on the table, very romantic. We got the preset meals at $55 euro per person. Antipasta and first dish were good. Pork chop was ok, dessert was ok. I would say over priced for the quality of food that was delivered. Also… there was a strange grumpy old man in an orange jacket roaming the restaurant all night that killed the vibe at times.

Locale un sperso. Poco visibile. Servizio cordiale. Bel menu. Cibo rispetta aspettative. Non solo cucina toscana classica. Forse un po' lenti ad uscire i piatti. Location piacevole e calda. Si torna.

Dispiace fare una recensione bruttina ma è stata davvero deludente. Eravamo in 6, avevamo buone aspettative ma alla fine abbiamo storto il naso tutti quanti. Il locale è molto carino. Buona partenza con gli antipasti, poi il livello è andato a calare paurosamente fino al punto più basso con i dolci. Il mio millefoglie era immangiabile con sfoglia alta e moscia e crema al cioccolato di gomma. Avrei evitato di scrivere la recensione se non fossimo stati serviti da una persona con l'atteggiamento un po' antipatico e presuntuosello di chi se la tira. Francamente non mi sembra che ci sia molto da tirarsela...
