Enoteca La Boccia In Padova

If I could give this 10 stars I would! A small wine bar with an open kitchen. A small but excellently prepared menu. The cacio pepe with crispy guanciale was out of this world, the pork ribs were beyond delicious, abd the carrot hummus was amazing. We had a perfect wine to accompany our meal, all served by friendly and helpful staff. We highly recommend!

Wine bar with a kitchen. And what a kitchen!!! Ladies and gentlemen! Spectacular! The kitchen is small and open. Healthy, authentic dishes for all tastes. Few, but very good. They weren't abundant, but expertly prepared by the chef. We ordered a platter of local cured meats and cheeses. A very delicate local salami and two types of cheese. One could have been a Piave, the other a stravecchio, however mature. I had the fettuccine with farmyard ragù. My daughter had the paccheri cacio e pepe with crispy guanciale. My wife had rack of pork ribs cooked twice on the firm homemade BBQ. The artisanal tiramisu with ladyfingers soaked in coffee crowned the evening.

For several years, "LA BOCCIA" has become a wonderful refuge for me, where I can relax in the evenings while enjoying my mixed Spritz (Campari, Carpano Rosso, Prosecco, and mineral water). The fact that all the staff are extremely friendly and always willing to prepare a pasta dish that isn't on the menu also adds to the atmosphere. I always enjoy coming here.

A wonderful experience this evening at La Boccia. We had carrot hummus, paccheri with zucchini cream, and paccheri with cacio e pepe and lemon. The paccheri with cacio e pepe and lemon were truly perfect. I also appreciated the wide selection of vegetarian options (especially for Padua and the surrounding area). Excellent prices. Thanks, we'll be back!

The restaurant is small but nicely decorated, unfortunately it was very hot inside on a not particularly hot evening. I found the portions a bit small for the price (18€ for a tartare without any side). The red wine was good but served way too warm (probably room temperature so > 25 Celsius). The bread was not the freshest anymore. Service was fast and attentive.

Excellent restaurant, we entered it by chance and it was a good discovery. Very attentive staff.

Very pleasant discovery, we were walking and we stopped for dinner. Excellent dishes (very good the porchetta with fresh horseradish), right portions and perfect wine to accompany everything (a San Martino).
