Enoteca i Terzi In Siena

Very elegant restaurant in the center of Siena, with a very wide selection of wines and a concise but interesting menu. We order a Fiorentina with baked potatoes and spinach. We were not asked how we wanted the meat cooked, but it arrived medium rare. However, it's a shame about the meat itself, certainly of good quality, but it wasn't the best. Furthermore, the knives used to cut it were terrible, they were very uncomfortable, not sharp and made the experience unpleasant. Potatoes, on the other hand, are fantastic. Truly exceptional. Disappointed by the service, with confused waiters who don't communicate with each other and come by one after the other to ask for the same things and the ladies who run the place are a bit grumpy and with little attention to the customer (unless you are foreigners or their friends).

Restaurant came highly recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. In fact, we thought so highly of it the first night that we came again the next night. Yes, we dined here two nights in a row. 🙂

Ideal restaurant for discerning palates and those who love wine and food in general. Slightly expensive dishes, but up to the quality! The wine list is very extensive, and we enjoyed it. The restaurant is ideally located, right in the heart of the city and a stone's throw from the main square. I recommend !

Good wine shop/restaurant in the center of Siena. The rooms are created in ancient funds and are very suggestive. Wide choice of wines. Traditional dishes with a modern twist. I took a series of appetizers including a really good parmigiana. Followed by a slightly dry and salty cod. Rather expensive.

Very nice experience overall. A great thing about this restaurant is that it changes the menu regularly and is NOT the same 20 items on evert Siena menu. I had a string-bean soup and the "fried" pork chops with two dips, amazing! Wife had the cod. Great service and food and a change from pasta, for those needing a change.

Ok, you can overlook a lot of things when on vacation due to your relaxed state of mind, the beautiful surroundings of Sienna, but don’t overlook this place. The wine list was a novella with extensive choices of regional whites, reds and rosé’s. Vast choices of Italians, good selection of French and others. As it should be, not a single US wine. Since there was also a couple of pages of Champagne, we opted for the bubbly. The food stood right up to the wine list. We had the charcuterie of local meats and cheeses. So many delicious specials but I had to go with the pigeon, foie gras and wilted spinach served with a blueberry reduction. We didn’t order dessert because we were on our way to dinner.

Location che sicuramente è molto molto valida come enoteca, con tantissima scelta e qualità sui vini (anche al calice). Tuttavia il ristorante è assolutamente mediocre. Tagliere di salumi e formaggi abbastanza buono ma non eccezionale, mentre il taglio di manzo alla griglia (che avevamo chiesto al sangue) ci è stato portato con una cottura che definirei media. Per me rovinato il piatto per questo motivo. Prezzi molto alti per quello che abbiamo mangiato: un antipasto, due tagli di manzo, due dolci e due calici 113€

The two of us arrived here early in the evening, right after opening time. Despite the fact that we were only looking for a good glass of wine, we were kindly guided to a table, after which they turned on the music just for us. Liking the ambience, we decided to have a look at the menu as well, after which we decided to eat there as well. The food was served very fast, presentated beautifully, and the quality was very good. While we were eating the restaurant gradually filled with locals and the occassional group of tourists. By the time we finished our main course we had about 25 minutes left, because we were on a schedule. Having received our main courses very quickly, we expected this to be enough time to still order dessert, but since the restaurant was filled to the brim that was a bad estimate on our side. By the time we almost had to leave we still had not received our dessert, despite asking the staff if it was almost ready, because we had to leave soon (which we should've indicated earlier). By the time we had to leave we had not yet received it, so I went to pay. Checking the bill I noticed the dessert was not on there, so I asked if that was correct. The manager confirmed that it was correct, but then went to the kitchen and came back with our dessert in a box for us to take away. I then offered to pay it still, but she said that it was all good and told us to enjoy the dessert (which we certainly did!) All in all we had a wonderul evening that we won't forget soon. Would definitely recommend going here!
