Too bad we didn't go there sooner. Inside the ancient bishop's palace of Monteforte, this sincere and authentic place has been created, 9 wines available, a wine list that is not bombastic, not encyclopedic but well curated with obvious attention to local wines. Simple, traditional, beautiful menu. Tasty dishes, cod among the best I've eaten, certainly made with wet stockfish (the flavor is unmistakable). Gluten-free is OK.
Kind and courteous, we will definitely be back.
Last but not least, excellent prices.

All'interno dell'antico palazzo vescovile di Monteforte anno ricavato questo sincero ed autentico locale, 9 vini in mescita, lista vini non roboante, non enciclopedica ma be curata con ovvia attenzione ai vini locali. Menu semplice, tradizionale, bello. Piatti saporiti, Baccalà fra i più buoni che ho mangiato, sicuramente fatto con lo stoccafisso bagnato (il sapore è inconfondibile). OK il senza glutine.
Gentili e cortesi, sicuramente ci torneremo.
Non da ultimo prezzi ottimi.

Very nice atmosphere with exposed brick faces. Disposition
excellent tables, it allows you to talk to your guests without having to speak out loud. Good food but a little small portions in my opinion. Good wine list. Courteous and helpful staff.

I have already written reviews in the past and I am happy to do so again because if you are also passing through on the A4, it is worth making a detour for lunch or dinner here.
Superlative red mullet and sardines in saor, characteristic location, absolutely professional and competent service.
Prices are more than reasonable for the quality of the dishes and the service offered

Ampio locale situato nel centro di Monteforte, con arredamento che richiama l' atmosfera della cantina e della convivialità. Menù che strizza l' occhio alla tradizione locale con qualche piatto fuori Regione. Nella nostra esperienza, meglio il pesce della carne ma, nel complesso, è stata un' esperienza positiva. Buona la scelta dei vini e prezzo in linea con l' offerta. Servizio cordiale e professionale.
