I shared a post on Instagram, and I was intrigued, so I wanted to try it because it's close to home and, above all, because I love risotto all'Amarone. The place is rustic and well-decorated, with ample parking. The staff is friendly, very kind, and knowledgeable, and the wine list is good. My husband and I enjoyed an excellent risotto all'Amarone... perfectly cooked and with a top flavor... and then we had the sliced ​​patanegra... guys, the meat was delicious and well-cooked. Paired with an excellent Valpolicella Superiore. Excellent value for money and impeccable service... congratulations to everyone, we'll definitely be back 👏🥂

A perfect Christmas lunch, both for the quality and quantity of the dishes, all with excellent service from the staff (young but professional and kind). Appetizer: filo pastry sweets filled with pumpkin, taleggio cheese, and pancetta. First course: baked lasagna with capon ragù, Pioppini mushrooms, and chestnuts, followed by risotto with Monte Veronese truffle and rosemary. Second course: cotechino with lentils and stuffed roast rabbit with baked potatoes. And to finish, dessert: pear baked in brandy with chocolate and pandoro. Then, coffee with a touch of spice and bitters. (You can have seconds of everything.) Excellent value for money. Recommended for everyone, families, or couples. Well done (sorry for not taking photos, but it would have been a shame to let the dishes get cold).

On our way back from the Ten Capitals walk, which I recommend, two of us, with a reservation, had lunch at this restaurant. Our first impression was immediately positive. It's an old cellar with a vaulted ceiling; the tables are well-spaced and well-set with classic red checked cotton tablecloths—kudos to them for avoiding napkins and non-woven fabrics. The bathrooms are clean; the only drawbacks are a certain darkness and poor acoustics; the echo is noticeable and, if there are a lot of customers, it can even be annoying and hinder conversation. The young waiters were very kind and attentive, especially a particularly friendly and cheerful brunette: well done, keep it up! We opted for the house antipasto of cured meats and the one with baby cuttlefish and polenta. Both were good and plentiful, and served quickly. At most, I would have added a little salt to the cuttlefish. Next, we had risotto with Amarone, which, as correctly stated on the menu, requires at least 20-25 minutes to cook. The risotto was certainly good, but not the best I've had, and considering it costs €15, I think it could have been more generous. The two desserts were good, but not unforgettable: the panna cotta and the apple crumble cake, the latter not particularly generous. The restaurant has a good wine list, mostly local, and you can also, in addition to the house wine, opt, as we did, for glasses, with three or four options each for red, white, and dessert wines. The white wine, a Soave Pra, was very good; the Valpolicella was average, and finally, the glass of Recioto from the Monteforte cooperative was truly excellent. The prices per glass were more than reasonable, and the two coffees were good. We spent a total of €80, a fair price considering the Amarone risotto is significantly more expensive than the other first courses. I was satisfied with the restaurant; the food is good, there's a good selection, and it has character. I highly recommend it and will definitely return. Reservations are recommended, as it gets quite crowded, especially on Sunday lunchtime.

A nice place for a meal with friends, no frills and lots of substance!

A sad experience that began with the smell of mold in the hall and ended with the lack of toilet paper in the restroom. Dinner spoiled the mood.

The restaurant is located in the basement of a large old villa, very characteristic, with a very good wine list, excellent food, and reasonable prices.

Excellent osteria, respecting regional recipes, no frills and all substance. A pleasant lunch.

We arrived with high expectations, which were not disappointed, neither by the service nor by the quality of the products. The location is suitable for any number of guests. Dishes feature a wealth of game and handmade products, including the pasta. We're from Monza and we loved it. Thank you.

My husband and I stopped in for a quick lunch. We ordered a delicious and tender patanegra steak with cooked vegetables. This time we didn't order wine, but on other visits to this wine shop, I've been able to taste and purchase excellent wines, typical of the area. The place is in the cool cellar of an old building, a perfect location for a wine shop. The service was quick and courteous, and the prices were fair. We'll definitely be back soon to try the other dishes, perhaps with a little more time.
